Hizb ut Tahrir / Canada sent a formal delegation to the Pakistani Consulate in Toronto requesting that the Pakistani authorities fulfill their Islamic obligation (Fard) to release Sister Romana and Sister Roshan. As noted in the press release delivered as a part of this visit,

 Yesterday, Sister Romana Hussein, a well known teacher with a master's degree in Islamic studies, was kidnapped. On the night of Monday, 13/08/2018 Pakistan security authories raided Dr. Roshan's house and kidnapped her with her husband, only because she says Allah is our Lord

To the pious sister Romana and sister Roshan and the many others who are experiencing severe difficulties for the sole reason of being a carrier of the Islamic dawah.

In the latest crackdown on the ideas promoted by the members of Hizb ut Tahrir calling for the re-establishment of the Islamic society through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah upon the method of the Prophethood, Pakistan’s Security officials arrested two devoted Muslim women, Sister Dr. Roshan and SisterRomana Hussein, holding them prisoners in accordance to the dictates of their Western masters.
