The reader may surmise from the title that I am exaggerating in praise or eulogizing a legacy. However, it is certainly not the case. My close association with Naveed Butt compelled me to describe him as a lion.

The Believer regards striving for the pleasure of Allah (swt) with urgency. The Believer is far from ineffectiveness, lethargic monasticism, asceticism and mysticism in his worship of Allah (swt). The Believer is characterized by vibrant dynamism, great urgency, committed seriousness, consistent discipline and explosive productivity. 

The importance of the righteous ‘Ulema cannot be overstated. ‘Ulema are the heirs of the Prophets (as) as informed by the Messenger of Allah (saw). They are like stars looked upon by the rest of the Ummah, in search for solutions when it is afflicted with trials and difficult problems.

Making peaceful agreement with the Jewish entity has been debated amongst the Ummah for long since its inception. Whenever peaceful agreements were made with the Jewish entity, they were justified by quoting the Treaty of Hudaibiya as evidence to have peaceful agreements with the illegitimate Jewish entity.
