As reported, the Jakarta Adminstrative Court on May 7 has rejected all Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia (HTI) lawsuit against the government's decision to revoke the status of Association’s of Legal Entity (BHP) of HTI made on July 19, 2017.

On Thursday, 19th of October 2017, Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) together with the representatives from MUI, FPI, Al Washliah, Ikadi, LBH Jakarta and Alumni Presidium 212, conveyed their views and opinions related to Perppu Ormas No. 02/2017 before the leaders and the members of the Commission 2 House of Representatives of Republic of Indonesia.

  In a press conference held on Monday, May 8, 2017, Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister (Menkopolhukam) Wiranto announced the process of disbandment of the organization of Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), on the grounds that HTI is considered not to carry positive roles to take part in the development process to achieve national goals; 

As widely reported, in the case of blasphemy trial in North Jakarta District Court on January 31, 2017, Jakarta Governor Ahok made remarks that were obviously seen as scolding and even threatening KH Ma'ruf Amin who was present as a witness asked to testify by the attorney.
