Gunmen from the West Papua Liberation Army attacked Indonesian troops who were sent to rescue a New Zealand pilot held hostage by rebels in Papua province. At least six soldiers died and around 30 are missing. The rebels killed the soldiers in revenge for the deaths of two rebels in a previous attack.

On 26th March 2023, United States Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Accra, Ghana to commence her three countries tour in Africa. She then visited Tanzania and Zambia thereafter. Being the 18th and most senior United States official to visit Africa this year she landed Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 29/03/2023 for three days’ visit.

The May 14 elections will be the elections with the largest number of alliances in the history of the Republic. On the night of Tuesday 4th April, the Zionist forces once again stormed the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, terrorising Muslim worshippers. They used stun grenades, rubber bullets and tear gas to force Palestinians out of the mosque and compound, causing suffocation to the men, women, elderly and children who were inside the building.
