Kunduz city, which is one of strategic cities in the north of Afghanistan – connecting the country with Central Asia – fell in to the hands of Taliban forces dramatically on 28th of September, only to prepare the public opinion in the US, in order to support the stay of the U.S. Armed Forces in Afghanistan beyond the given date.

This article seeks to showcase the failures of the Beijing Declaration and any attempts of secular systems to address the problem of violence against women through the case studies of Tunisia and Turkey.
