More than half of Afghanistan’s population, around 18 million people, are suffering from ‘comprehensive and multidimensional’ poverty, according to a new report released by the National Statistics and Information Administration of Afghanistan.We perceive that the rise of poverty in Afghanistan is due to the implementation of free market system and pursuance of the International Community’s policies, especially the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the Afghan government’s commitment to these institutions
