14 April, Paludan, far-right Danish politician, was given permission to burn the Quran in both Norrköping and Linköping, which he did with massive police protection. This provoked strong reactions from Muslims in the above-mentioned cities, where police were attacked, police cars were destroyed, and the police were forced to retreat.
