Recently, Pakistan’s rulers are presenting reduction in the trade deficit, increase in foreign exchange reserves, increase in foreign remittances and activities in some industry as signs of economic progress. Previously, rulers used to cite increasing GDP, mega projects and reduction in the rise inflation as evidence of success.
