Message to the Muslims in Tanzania on the Blessed Day of Eid Al-Fitr
(Translated)

The blessed month of Ramadan has passed, and here we are on the blessed day of Eid Al-Fitr, and we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania congratulate the Muslims in Tanzania and the entire Islamic Ummah on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, asking Allah (swt) that it is a good and joyous Eid.

Our fasting in the month of Ramadan has been accompanied by a grim and dark reality, as poverty and hunger have increased, and vices have spread, and despite that, the Islamic Ummah has embarked on fasting with passion, taqwa, patience and certainty, and this is good evidence, and we ask Allah (swt) to accept our fasting and our qiyam prayer, and to forgive our shortcomings and transgressions.

O Muslims: Ramadan has passed once again, and the Muslims have no Khaleefah (caliph) to take care of their affairs, preserve their worship, protect their lands, defend their honour, and support their sanctities. The Jews attacked the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the people of Palestine, and there is no rescuer. China arrested Muslims in East Turkistan, tortured and detained them, and forced them to break the fasting during Ramadan, and there is no supporter. Calamities abound in Muslim countries, and there is no way out for them.

O Muslims: You have been characterized in the month of Ramadan by a great feature of the characteristics of Muslims, which is adherence to the Halal and Haram. You have thrown your desires behind your backs, and you have resorted to Allah (swt) seeking His pleasure. Know that this is required of you in Ramadan and in months other than Ramadan, and it is necessary in prayer and fasting, in the bayah (oath) to the Khaleefah the establishment of Shariah punishments (hudood), and in Shariah rulings, because they are all from Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, who says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً] “O you who have believed, enter into Islām completely [and perfectly]” [Al-Baqara: 208].

To enter into Islam completely means to implement Islam in all aspects of life. This is by the resumption of the Islamic way of life by the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah in an Islamic country, so that the Khilafah State may then expand and include the whole world, filling the east and west of the earth with justice and light, Allah willing, Al-Aziz Al-Hakeem.

O Muslims: Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania urges you not to miss the opportunity and invites you to work with Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah, the protector and preserver of Muslims. It also draws your attention to the necessity of adhering to the Shari’ah rulings on the day of Eid and not to violate them by transgressing over the limits of Allah (swt), under the pretext of joy in Eid, and to take care of your families and children and raise them in accordance to the rules of the great Islam. In conclusion, we pray to Allah (swt) to accept from us and from you and to make this Eid a day of goodness and blessings for the Islamic Ummah everywhere.
