Preventing the Entry of the UN Special Rapporteur into Afghanistan is Commendable, but the Influence of “Leaders of Kufr” Must be Eradicated

The spokesperson for the Afghan government, in an interview with Deutsche Welle, announced that Richard Bennett, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, has been barred from entering Afghanistan. He emphasized that “Bennett has been tasked with disseminating propaganda against Afghanistan and is not someone whose words can be trusted.”

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir – Wilayah Afghanistan appreciates this decision and hopes that such decisions would become more widespread and comprehensive. Richard Bennett has been assigned to pursue the policies of major powers and institutions; yet in reality, the U.S. and the UN are the “leaders of Kufr” and are the main forces in suppressing political Islam, promoting blasphemous beliefs, and misleading Muslims. Therefore, the Afghan government must not only target these individuals but also eradicate the roots of corruption, crime, and disbelief.

While Richard Bennett is a UN representative; unfortunately, the so-called political office of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan (UNAMA) remains active in Afghanistan. UNAMA plays an active role in promoting Western values, human rights, and misleading people. In its reports, it openly attacks Islam and describes its rulings as “oppressive.” One of UNAMA’s missions is to promote human rights in Afghanistan while the concept of human rights is non-Islamic that includes blasphemous values and is used as a tool for influence and suppression by great powers; and today, those who claim to uphold human rights are the greatest criminals in human history.

Today, due to the absence of a Khilafah (Caliphate), Muslims are trapped by Western political order and institutions. Western institutions operate in a multifaceted manner, and merely restricting an individual cannot stop them. The Western powers, through the “Carrot and Stick” policy, attempt to increase their influence in Afghanistan and divert the Mujahideen from fully implementing Islam. Heather Barr, Associate Director of the Women’s Rights Division at Human Rights Watch, warned that restricting Richard Bennett is not the end, and they will continue their activities through other means. She implicitly referred to civil society organizations that have value-based, political, and intelligence ties with the West.

Therefore, the Afghan government must not only limit these individuals but also fundamentally uproot these institutions, NGOs, Western processes, and colonial economic and political influence. This will only be possible when the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) is established, and with the foundation of a new global order, the Muslim Ummah will be freed from the multilateral siege of the governments and organizations – the so-called “leaders of Kufr.”

[وَإِن نَّكَثُوا أَيْمَانَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُوا أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَا أَيْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ]

“And if they break their oaths after their covenant and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief - for indeed, they have no oaths - so that they might desist.”[At-Tawbah: 12]
