What Message did India Send by Seizing Two Ships with 78 Sailors in Bangladeshi Maritime Territory during the Indian Foreign Secretary's Visit to Dhaka?

Amidst the tense relations between Bangladesh and India, Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri visited Dhaka on December 9, 2024. At the beginning of the visit, in the afternoon, while he was meeting Foreign Secretary Md. Jasim Uddin at the state guesthouse Padma, the Indian Coast Guard entered Bangladeshi maritime territory and seized two ships named 'FB Meghna-5' and 'FB Laila-2' with 78 sailors. By showing disregard to the minimum diplomatic courtesy, India has once again demonstrated its continued hegemonic aggressive foreign policy. This national diplomatic posture of India is not new, through which India has been disrespecting Bangladesh's sovereignty instead of respecting it, and harboring hostility instead of friendship. Just as the illegal Jewish state is engaged in hostility against Muslims in Palestine, the Hindutva state of India has also been harboring hostility against Muslims in this region. Allah (swt) says,

[لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا]

“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah " [Surah Al-Ma'idah: 82].

So when the entire Muslims of the country are declaring India an enemy state and demanding the severance of diplomatic relations, and are demanding justice for the Pilkhana massacre committed in 2009 in a conspiracy by India and Hasina to weaken the military, at the same time the interim government, instead of trusting in the united strength of the people, is trying to gain India's trust and has disappointed the people by inviting the Indian Foreign Secretary to improve relations.

Many consider American help to confront India inevitable, and so they welcome Bangladesh's military relations with the colonialist power America. As you surely know, the 11th Bangladesh-US bilateral military dialogue has begun on December 11, 2024, and through this America is eager to use the land and military forces of this country as fuel for its geopolitical interests. And India is the watchdog for protecting America's strategic interests in this region and a member of the Indo-Pacific military alliance QUAD. America has engaged India in this task to deter China and prevent the rise of a Khilafah (Caliphate) State. Allah (swt) says,

[لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ]

“Let not the believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e. supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that, has nothing [i.e. no association] with Allah” [Surah Ali-Imran: 28].

Therefore, accepting American help instead of trusting in the united strength of Muslims to confront India will be suicidal and contrary to our imaan.

O Muslims, RasulAllah (swt) said,

«وَإِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ»

“Only the Imam (Caliph) is the shield behind which you fight and protect yourselves” (Sahih Muslim). After the establishment of the Khilafah State in this country, under the leadership of the Khalifa, the entire Muslim Ummah, including the oppressed Kashmir-Palestine-Rohingya Muslims, will be united and Bangladesh will become a leading state from the very first day. And it is worth mentioning here that the united strength of the Muslims of this region is enough to resist India. Moreover, India is surrounded by Muslim countries and its enemies. The upcoming Khilafah state will unite all the surrounding Muslim countries one by one, including nuclear-powered Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Afghanistan. Moreover, it will establish strategic relations with countries that are not at war with Muslims. Therefore, the upcoming Khilafah will not be an isolated state; rather, it will emerge as a new superpower in the world. As a result, the Western colonialist countries, especially America-Britain and their regional henchman India and the Jewish entity, will not have the courage to launch aggression against Muslims. Therefore, unite under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah upon the method of Prophethood, the only shield of the protection and dignity of the Muslim Ummah, and in this regard demand from your sincere sons that serving in the military to give nussrah (hand over authority) to Hizb ut Tahrir.

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life” [Surah Al-Anfal: 24].
