The Country must become a Leading State to Protect against Border Aggression, and Defend People's Security and Sovereignty

The incidents of constructing barbed wire fences along the border in violation of so-called international law and cutting down trees and paddy fields by entering the country under the auspices of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) are a reflection of India's continued hostility towards the people of this country. India's real objective is to keep this Muslim land unstable and subjugated. However, we have seen that the Muslim soldiers and people strengthened with their imaan put up a fierce resistance to protect our borders. The Prophet (saw) said, «لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»“One day guarding the border in the way of Allah is better than the world and everything in it” (Bukhari: 2892; Mishkat: 3791). In the face of the resistance of this soldier-people, the cowardly enemy soldiers of the Hindutva state of India- the successor of the defeated King Dahir, were forced to retreat. This incident is a unique example of the fact that the security of Muslim lands can only be maintained through Islam. And this is why India fears the revival of Islam in this country and continues to be hostile towards Islam and Muslims. Allah (swt)says,

[لَنْ يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى وَإِنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ]

“They will not harm you except for [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs [i.e., retreat]; then they will not be aided” [Surah Ali-Imran: 111].

The surprising thing is that when the Muslim soldiers and people of this country stand in front of these cowardly enemy soldiers chanting “Allahu Akbar” and when an old Muslim citizen is swearing to protect the Muslim land even with the last drop of his blood, not even a single condemnation against this border aggression comes out of the mouths of the democratic political parties of this country because these agent ruling elites do not hold the beliefs and emotions of the people. You have witnessed that the Indian Army Chief has demanded early elections in our country and has dared to interfere in our internal affairs by making unwanted comments about our army. But the current American agent politicians and intellectuals have not protested this because they know that India is the watchdog of American interests in this region. Therefore, you have also witnessed statements like “India-US want to see democracy and democratic elections in Bangladesh as soon as possible” (Prothom Alo, January 17, 2025). The question is, how will the security and sovereignty of the country be protected through this agents and the democratic system?

Therefore, to protect the security and sovereignty of the people of this Muslim-dominated country, this country must be established as a leading State based on Islamic ideals. Because without being an ideological state, a state cannot be effective, rather that state will be used as a tool for the colonialists. Our foreign and military policies must be guided by the principles of Islam. To effectively confront India, according to the draft constitution of the Khilafah (Calipahte) State prepared by Hizb ut Tahrir on the basis of the Quran and Sunnah, here are some points:

One, every male Muslim aged fifteen years and above shall undergo compulsory military training for Jihad (Article 62). As a result, the trained people shall be able to play an effective role in protecting the borders with our military forces.

Two, According to Article 189 (3) of the Constitution, our relations with the US-Britain and their regional ally India shall be considered as a potential state of war. All possible precautions shall be taken against them and we shall not be allowed to establish any diplomatic relations with them. Until war actually breaks out with them, their citizens shall be able to enter our country through passports and visas which shall be limited to each individual for each trip.

Three, According to Article 189 (2) of the Constitution, economic, trade, cultural or friendship agreements with China may be continued and measures may be taken with them in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

Four, According to Article 189 (1) of the Constitution, all efforts shall be made to unite the existing Muslim states in the world by considering them as a single state. As a result, Muslims will become a strong nation.

O People, neither the so-called reforms nor the election circus will change your situation. Therefore, deploy all your strength to establish the Khilafah State under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir. For this purpose, demand from your sons serving in the military that they hand over power to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the leading state- Khilafah.

[هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا]

“It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allāh as Witness.” [Surah Al-Fath: 28].
