Hizb ut-Tahrir Held a Global Conference Entitled: Revolution Of The Nation: Schemes For Its Abortion And The Inevitability Of The Islamic Project

Hizb ut-Tahrir held a global conference in Tripoli on 10 Jumada II 1433 AH / 01.05.2012 under the title:

"Revolution of the nation: Schemes for its abortion and the inevitability of the Islamic project"

The conference centered around three topics. First: "Revolutions of the Arab world - their causes, reality, and aspirations," Second: "Schemes for aborting and deviating the course of the revolution" and Third: "The inevitability of Islamic project Islamic - "caliphate".

The conference was opened by the leader of Hizb ut-Tahrir; the respected scholar Ata ibn Khalil Abu ar-Rashtah. In his speech, he addressed the political development denouncing the brutal tyrant rulers of the Muslim lands who execute a foreign agenda in suppressing the Islamic cause calling for the restoration of the Islamic way of life, unmindful of the inevitable fate of every oppressor. He added, "You see very clearly and very aware of the fact that some dictators who were thought to be indestructible were indeed toppled from power. As well the thick wall of fear and terror which no one thought can be destroyed, was indeed shattered...all of which is an eye opener and a reminder that the ultimate end of oppression, terror, and dictatorship is indeed near; despite all brutal measures of torture, killing, and tactics used by the tyrants." He concluded that America and the western countries do not have any goodwill towards the Muslim Ummah. For they are the ones who conspired to destroy the Caliphate state, and divided the Muslim nation into dozens of countries, imposing borders to force disunity among Muslims, and supported and maintained the brutal regimes. Thus the Muslim Ummah must depend on her own resources and to safe-guard against the western states and their local agents' plots to undermine the ongoing revolutions".

Representatives of the Media Offices of the Party from Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon participated in the conference along with a multitude of distinguished guests, comprising politicians and intellectuals who came from Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen. Those who could not attend in person participated via video.

The speakers clarified the reality of the Ummah's revolution and explained its achievements and the difficulties and obstacles in its struggle to topple the geographical and political impediments that were imposed by the colonial powers after destroying the Khilafah "Caliphate" in 1342 AH / 1924 AD. The speakers also outlined the way for the Ummah to open a new chapter of distinguished leadership in the world according to Allah's direction.

The Director of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir concluded the conference with the following recommendations:

1- The real revolution must cut all ties with the political, economic and cultural precedents imposed by the West upon the Islamic nation. Failure to do so will ensure the continuity of Western hegemony under the disguise of new forms and slogans. The infamous Machiavellian politics of the West are at their most pernicious when targeting the Muslim world, which is the target of merciless subjugation at the hands of both Israeli war criminals and bloodthirsty agent-regimes that scheme against the Ummah day and night under the smiling gaze of western leaders.

2- Appeasement of the capitals of the West, under the false pretexts of economic necessity and dire straits, is a betrayal of Allah and His Messenger and the believers. Indeed, Allah blessed this Ummah with abundance and material resources that it would be the envy of all the peoples of the world, if only it were managed according to the rules of Islam rather than the sick desires of the existing despots who usurp power by force and calumny.

3- The revolutions must unite into one single revolution aimed at the resumption of the Islamic life embodied in the comprehensive application of the rules of Islam. This requires the Muslims to act as one nation, to the exclusion of all others and the renunciation of man-made idols, flags, slogans, nationalistic allegiances and secular democratic philosophies; all of which share no relation with Islam whatsoever. Only the Islamic relationship can bind the nation together while the secular bond of materialism can offer only further fragmentation and enslavement.

4- This unity is embodied in a political pledge of allegiance to a single Caliph for the entire nation to ensure guardianship of all and the application of the provisions of the Islamic jurisdiction. This political unity will bring glad tidings to the weak and victory to the oppressed, and it will work to spread the values of justice and righteousness while suppressing evil and debauchery.

5- The Party boldly presented itself to the Islamic Ummah from the first day that it embarked upon its practical program of change, which retraces the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, and the recent events have confirmed the correctness of what the party has embarked upon, namely that real change requires gaining the loyalty of the people of victory for the sake of Allah and His Prophet and the nation, and not for the dictates of the capitals of the disbelievers. And that change will remain a nominal patchwork as long as the leaders of armies yearn after the capitals of the West, instead of siding to the nation in its greatest battle for liberation.

6- The Party presents itself to all the people of the Ummah as they arm themselves with true faith in their Lord and awareness and understanding of the rules of their religion, and as they refuse to accept the world's meddling in their religion, so they seek Allah pleasure rather than the pleasure of the leaders of the West. This means that the sons of the nation must distinguish between the ignorant deviants who thirst after the West and those who carry the true call of Islam without bargaining away the religion of Allah.

Hizb ut-Tahrir calls upon the attention of the leaders of the Muslim armies to the rising dawn of the Caliphate, so do not wager on the allegiance of the West, rather wager on the pleasure of your Lord and work with the loyal sons of the nation in support of this religion and elevating the Word of Allah.
