The Deceitful Western Democracies are in a Mad Dash to Devour the Wealth of Myanmar's Buddhists and Muslims, while Buddhist Extremists are Busy Killing the Muslims and Burning their Homes

The Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir has launched an international campaign to expose four crimes:

First: The Muslim Rohingyas have been stripped of citizenship since 1982 and require permission to travel or marry, are forbidden from owning land, property or businesses. They have experienced, since the end of October 2012, a resurgence of attacks. To date this year, around 100,000 have been made homeless and are living in squalid refugee camps. Untold numbers have been killed.

Second: The government of Myanmar is supporting the persecution, while the opposition, led by Nobel Peace Laureate Ang San Suu Kyi, fails to speak out for the victims, which exposes one of democracy's great flaws: its inability to protect unwelcome minorities.

Third: The hypocritical western democracies have been exposed for turning a blind eye to the absence of "human rights." These democracies have done nothing towards the persecution, oppression, and the brutal attacks of the Muslim Rohynga and their displacement. This is from one aspect.

Another aspect, the western democracies support economic reform in Myanmar where human rights have no value; on the contrary, the regime considers the persecution and displacement of the Muslim Rohynga just. The western democracies have lavished Thein Sein's regime with aid:

• Myanmar has been subjected to 25 years of sanctions; when the persecution intensified against the Rohynga Muslims, they announced the removal of sanctions. In addition, the World Bank announced it will start by sending $80 million in aid. By doing this, human rights have been tossed from the backs of western democracies!

• The European Union's Commission Chief visited Myanmar to congratulate Thein Sein and offer 100 million dollars.

• Global accountancy firms set up offices including the opening of other intercontinental companies in Myanmar.

• The Swiss sent their Foreign Minister to open an embassy, while the Norwegian and Danish Prime Ministers came in person to open their  embassies!

• 4 November 2012: President Thein Sein signed the Foreign Investment Code removing all barriers and limitations to foreign ownership of  Myanmar's wealth.

Fourth: Muslims are fleeing in overcrowded boats to Bangladesh, whose Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said, "We're already burdened with thousands of Rohingya refugees staying in Bangladesh and we don't want anymore." Human Rights Watch described the condition of those living in these refugee camps as, "the worst that seasoned aid workers have ever seen" and new asylum seekers are being sent back to drown in the open sea.

 Oh Muslims and People of Honor from amongst the People of Power in the Muslim lands and armies:

(وَإِنِ ٱسۡتَنصَرُوكُمۡ فِى ٱلدِّينِ فَعَلَيۡڪُمُ ٱلنَّصۡرُ)

"And if they seek help from you in the matter of religion, then it is your duty to help." [al-Anfal:72]

Islam spread through what is now Myanmar at the time of the Khaleefah Harun al-Rashid and when the people saw the greatness, truth and justice of Islam they embraced it, and ruled by it for centuries, until the Khilafah "Caliphate" weakened and disbelievers managed to plunge the region back into darkness and discrimination. Democracy now promises to bring a new form of discrimination to Myanmar that is based on greed.

Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" will grant Muslims and Buddhists alike the protection, peace and prosperity that democracy, and its cronies from the deviated rulers of the Muslim countries will never bring them.

Oh Muslims, aid your brothers and sisters in Myanmar, and work with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" who protect the Muslims and prevent any attack against the Ummah or anything dare to them...
