Campaign to Support Naveed Butt, Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Pakistan
(Translated)

On Friday 11 May 2012, the secret intelligence services of Pakistan abducted Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Pakistan. The secret agents, upon instruction by General Kayani, kidnapped Naveed in front of his three children, they dragged and forced him into a car to an unknown destination.

Seven months later on Naveed's whereabouts remain unknown; Kayani's thugs and henchmen added to their terror campaign their harassment against his family and relatives; the secret intelligence chased his nephew firing at him, and also they stormed the residence of another nephew terrorizing the members of the household of women and children. On the 24th of May, they sent a letter to his family threatening to murder him and get rid of his body unless he stops his tireless struggle to expose the corrupt leadership of Pakistan.

In a futile attempt to distance themselves from the abduction crime, Kayani thugs faked a ransom letter sent to Naveed's family demanding ransom money for his release.

Naveed's crime was his persistent principled brave stand in exposing the treason of Kayani and the political leadership of Zardari and Jilani who are executing the American agenda in Pakistan. This political leadership who enabled the Americans in carrying on their endless list of terror and crimes across Pakistan and Afghanistan could not bear the voice of truth which exposed their real agenda in serving the American interests and not the interests of the Muslim nation. Naveed's heroic brave stand exposed their fake "civility" and democracy when they unleashed the terror campaign against him, his family and his relatives.

Naveed's abduction was not the first or the last of its kind; the Pakistani-American regime has had a long record of crackdown against the dawah carriers who spoke the truth and struggled to uproot the American dominion and hegemony over Pakistan. On 12 April 2012, the government secret police abducted Habib Allah Selim, the IT director in front of his home in Karachi; on 15 November 2012, they also abducted Dr Zul Fiqaar in Peshawar, then on 26 November 2012, they abducted Brother Saad Jarangvi, the head of the Central Communication Committee in Pakistan who was later transferred to Lahore's infamous Central Jail, notorious for its appalling conditions and mistreatment of prisoners. As well the abduction of Dr Abdul Qayyum who endured 9 months of brutality in the dungeon cells of secret intelligence; and detentions and arrests of dozens of other members of Hizb ut Tahrir.

General Kayani's treason has become well known and exposed in broad daylight.

The call for the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" state has gained mass support both within the public opinion in Pakistan and the ranks of the armed forces; this is the true reason behind Kayani's senseless campaign of terror against members of Hizb ut Tahrir. Little does he, and his American masters, know that the abduction of Naveed and his brothers will only strengthen our resolve to intensify our work to bring down the corrupt regime in Pakistan and to re-establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" state which would liberate the Muslim nation from the yoke of American dominion and restore the pride and dignity of the Muslim nation by implementing the Islamic Shariah.

To the media personnel,

Naveed, and his brothers in Hizb ut Tahrir, have devoted their lives to speak the truth in exposing the treason of the Pakistani political leadership and to exert every effort to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate". Have you not seen their brave heroic stand in serving the Ummah to liberate it from the American dominion? How do you explain or justify your deafening silence against the crimes committed by Kayani's thugs?? Is this the brave role of the media in siding with the oppressed in speaking up for the truth against the nation's enemy? We ask you to side with the Ummah by exposing and highlighting the injustices committed by Kiyani's and Jilani's thugs. The Ummah will not forget your stand with or against it!!

To the Kayani thugs and henchmen,

This corrupt regime's end is near, and the rise of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state is eminent. You should take notice of the fate of the Arab dictators, which awaits Kayani; we call upon you to awaken from your slumber and to side with the nation and not its enemy. You must have seen the fate of those who served the Arab tyrants in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Yemen. It is time for you to avoid a similar fate and work with the Ummah to restore our dignity and pride.

To the Islamic Ummah,

You have known Hizb ut Tahrir all along: we have vowed in front of our Lord to exert every effort and every breadth in struggling to serve this Deen and to liberate the Ummah from western dominion by establishing the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" which will unite the whole Ummah and implement the Islamic Shariah. We follow the Prophet's methodology in our cause, and we will not deviate from it, nor will our resolve weaken; we are certain that Allah (swt) will fulfil His promise to make this Deen victorious. Whatever sacrifices we make is nothing as a price to win the pleasure of Allah (swt). We call upon you all to join your hands with ours in working to uproot the corrupt regime in Pakistan and remove General Kayani's thugs and to liberate Pakistan from the American dominion and hegemony. Join us in this campaign to expose the brutality of the Pakistani regime and to force the liberation and freedom of Brother Naveed Butt and his brothers from Pakistan's jails.
