Expansion of the American Naval Base in the Persian Gulf
(Translated)

The Pentagon announced on January 26, its budget for the next fiscal year, which began in October 2012.  The budget included reducing the military presence in Europe; which also included establishing a naval base to provide the necessary logistical support for the special groups of commandos, known as the Navy SEALs; as well as war vessels, helicopters, and war jets.  Although, the fiscal year begins in October 2012, the Pentagon justified its immediate conversion of old military ships whether it was Ponce or others under the pretext that U.S. national security is at risk and can not wait for the beginning of the fiscal year.  But, the Pentagon overstepped required administrative measures in the bidding process to re-service the ship that was scheduled for retirement.  However, it gave the contracted company the urgent task for the operation, effective immediately.  As reported the nominated site will stabilize the base; scheduled to go into effect early next summer.  A Pentagon spokesperson did not forget to claim that its aim is to enable U.S. forces to provide humanitarian assistance during any crisis and natural disasters in remote regions where there is no availability for logistic bases.

The announcement comes on the account of Iranian's statement, which threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz in the situation where an oil embargo will be sanctioned on Iran.  This all comes with the stern tone surrounding the Iranian nuclear file and the Iranian naval maneuvres in the Islamic Gulf.

What concerns us in Hizb ut Tahrir is to emphasize the following points:

• America's effort in strengthening its military deployment across the board through a network of expanding widespread military bases throughout locations in the Muslim world; but it aims to impose slavery colonialism upon the Ummah and to prevent the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" State to the Muslims preventing them from living in accordance to the Hukm of their Deen and the Shariah of their Creator.

• The alleged targeting of humanitarian assistance is an alleged lie, as revealed by Captain John Kirby, a Pentagon spokesman that "this goal has been planned by that opportunity now exists to move to implement it." It is known that the Special Forces known as the SEALs have a long history and a dark record of crimes and assassinations dating back to the beginning of its dirty war in Vietnam.

• What enables America to move forward in its criminal plans are the disappointing complicit Muslim rulers who are content to play the role of custodian to serve American interests, which enables America to extend its control. This applies to all the Gulf rulers, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, as well as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and others.

• As for Iran, the Iranian regime which as long as it raises the slogans: "Great Satan" and "Death to America"; it did not implement these slogans with serious actions in reality. Rather, we saw the policies of Iran serve the U.S. occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is better than Iran's strategic alliance with the Assad Baathi regime in Syria, which provided and provides the most valuable service to the American Jewish project: the continuation of the Golan Heights' occupation. As well as, the Jewish desecration of the Al-Aqsa Sharif and the remaining land of the Isra and Miraj in Palestine. Despite all this, the Iranian regime describes the Syrian regime as opposing and resistant, they do not wage jihad against the enemies of Allah (swt). Those regimes do not make an effort to implement the Hukm of Allah (swt) for the Ummah. Iran's leadership does not hesitate to support the Assad Baathi regime with the continuation of murders of the righteous sons of Islam in Syria. But, if it is not for the support of Iran, the criminal Syrian regime would have collapsed ridding the Muslims in Syria from the crimes that increase in frequency and violence day by day rather hour by hour.

• We would like to take this opportunity to bring the Ummah's attention, especially to the leaderships of the revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya that the revolution must target the uprooting of the foreign occupation regardless of its forms and labels, and not to take part with the negotiations and shameful deals with the pawns and tools of the American and Europeans that chase behind mends that neither harms nor benefits; because it renews the Western hegemony over our Ummah and extends the life of afflictions.

• There is no one to intercede or justify their arguments that the transitional phase that requires gradual steps and diplomatic follow-ups with the tactics to be able to confront the West. Islam does not recognize the Machiavellian policy where the end justifies the means. This is on one hand, and on the other hand, the Islamic Ummah unifies its strengths that have the manpower and resources enabling them complete independence from the greedy Western countries in our country; but it possesses the strength of Aqeedah to be witness upon the people as entrusted to us by Allah (swt) and dignified us. To enlighten the Muslim countries with the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah and to spread the blessings throughout the world.

(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ)

"O you who believe! Answer (the call of) Allah and His Apostle when he calls you to that which gives you life; and know that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered." [8: 24]
