The United States Maneuvers, Plots and Conspires to Continue its Dominance on the Gold Mines and Trade Route in Asia and the Pacific ... As for the rulers of Indonesia - Deaf, Mute, Blind, and Immobile!

It has become increasingly clear that the United States government is securing its interests in Southeast Asia, specifically Indonesia, moving with obvious and accelerated strides, where America dominates with long-term contracts in which the province of Papua has the largest gold mine in the world! The United States has sent an additional 20 thousand personnel to Darwin, Australia, in an operation named Talisman Saber 2013, which is a joint U.S. - Australian 'exercise' running from July 15 to August 5, 2013.

With the addition of these military personnel, the number of U.S. troops in Darwin is estimated at 22,750 soldiers. Not only that, the operation Talisman Saber 2013 included a number of federal agents (FBI). This amount was recognized by the Australian military as a great addition to these bi-annual exercises. "This year, the U.S. came up with a great power," said Brigadier Bob Brown, an Australian spokesman for the joint exercise. In the same year the United States has sent 15 ships to the region to join 11 Australian ships in the military exercise.

Although a number of media reports mentioned that the operation was aimed at improving humanitarian capabilities, Brigadier Brown confirmed that the increase in U.S. personnel in Darwin is part of U.S. policy to increase influence in the Pacific region.

The U.S. is very concerned about safeguarding its political and military influence in the Asia-Pacific region. Professor Ann Marie Murphy, a senior researcher at the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University, said that up to 60 percent of U.S. Naval Forces will be deployed in Asia by 2020. Also, there will be a total of 500 U.S. sailors and marines in Darwin for mission rotations, the total will reach to 2,500 troops within the next few years.

First: Indonesia is a Muslim country; and everything in it from the bounties, resources and strategic location reverts to the Muslims, and obligates Islam to safeguard it, and prohibits negligence and their forfeiture. For that we address the sincere people of power and we say to them: How long will you remain silent over the plundering of the country's riches?! Until when will you allow the United States, China and others who battle over our country without anyone to stop them as if we do not exist!?

Second: It is not permissible to be silent over humiliating violations of our sovereignty in the air, land and sea; and atop that, it is not valid to accept the governance of the United States or any other in the nautical trade route!

Third: You must cancel the concession contract awarded to the U.S. Company Freeport McMoRan to extract gold and copper from the Indonesian province of Papua, which was signed in 1967 for a period of 30 years, which then was extended to thirty new years in 1991! This gave them exclusivity to the largest gold mine in the world! While the people of Indonesia are dying of starvation!

Fourth: Indonesia must send a clear message to the United States, which demanded from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit reports of human rights violations in Papua before the U.S. Congress! A message to the effect that Papua, Indonesia is not a state from your states. And you, O America search out your criminal violations of humanity and regions of the world that have been invaded and destroyed by your forces after your violations that carries all forms of brutality against human rights in Iraq and Afghanistan. As well as your silence over the horrific crimes taking place in Syria and Palestine, Chechnya, Kashmir and elsewhere, and even through direct or indirect American support for these crimes!

We at Hizb ut Tahrir address our call to the Muslims in Indonesia to recognize the imminent dangers of colonial domination and dismemberment of lands resulting from the deficient leadership, and to work with us to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" state that is the true shield of the Ummah and protector of our land, honor and resources which will be established soon with the Will of Allah. Indeed Allah is Able over all matters.
