Open Letter to the People of Power in the Muslim Armies

From the Mothers, Sisters and Daughters of the Muslim Ummah to Liberate the Blessed Land of Palestine

This is a message to our sincere brothers, fathers and sons in the armies of the Muslim lands from the women of this noble Muslim Ummah. We address you as those who have been vested with the duty by the Lord of the Worlds (swt) to protect the Muslims and guard our dignity. We address you as those who have the power to put an end to the slaughter of our Ummah. We address you as those who are inheritors of Khalid bin Walid (RA), Salahuddin Ayubi (RH), Muhammad ibn Qasim (RH) and other great Muslim commanders of the past. We pray that our words reach the ears and opens the hearts of those amongst you who wish to embrace the glorious legacy of these great heroes of Islam.

We know your anguish as you witness the endless slaughter of your brothers and sisters in Gaza and across the Blessed Land of Palestine. We feel your rage as you see massacre after massacre, mass grave after mass grave, and line after line of bodies wrapped in Kaffan. We know that the screams of the terrified women, children and babies whose homes have been bombed or who lie buried in the rubble haunts your mind, and that the tears of the grieving mothers and orphaned children tears at your soul. We have no doubt that your blood boils as you see Al Aqsa desecrated by Jewish forces and settlers and your honourable sisters violated and assaulted in the streets and in the occupation’s prisons, and that you are inflamed with the desire to come to their aid. And we know that your heart beats alongside ours with Palestine.

So why do you not respond to the cries of the women and children of this blessed land who call for you to liberate them from this brutal Zionist occupation and annihilation, when Allah (swt) says, ﴿وَإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ﴾“And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help” [Al-Anfal:72]? How much longer will you remain in the shadows while your Ummah suffers and the land of Masra, the night journey of your beloved Prophet (saw), is defiled? How many more thousands are to be killed, how many more babies are to be burned alive, how many more children are to die from starvation and thirst before you move against this murderous entity? How can you stand still while your Ummah is being annihilated? Have you not seen enough? What more do you need to witness before you rise to your Islamic duty of being the defenders and liberators of your Ummah? Where is your Iman, your sense of honour, your sense of chivalry? Does your Rasul (saw) not say, «لَزَوَالُ الدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ قَتْلِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ»“In the Sight of Allah, killing a believer is worse than the disappearance of the entire world”? So, what is it that you are waiting for? You alone have the material power – the tanks, the planes, the munition, the soldiers – to eradicate this cancerous occupation and put an end to this bloodbath and living nightmare for good! Enough is enough! If these horrific scenes do not move you, then when will you move?!!

O Sincere Soldiers of the Muslim Armies! Where are the men of courage from amongst you who will come to the aid of your Ummah? Where are the men of honour from amongst you who will defend the dignity of your sisters? Where are the men from amongst you who wish to gain the great status of liberating Al Aqsa? What is all your training, your weapons, your military strength for if not for protecting your Ummah and liberating our lands? If the Western powers have united their weapons and wealth to support the Jewish entity and genocide, then is it not for the armies of the Muslim lands to unite to save their brothers and sisters from this bloodbath? You know that a ceasefire will not end this seven-decade long genocide and Nakba. You know that there will be no end to the slaughter, the pain and suffering of the Muslims of Palestine without you mobilizing your military strength to liberate the entire land of Palestine from this murderous barbaric occupation.

O Sons of the Muslim Armies! How will you respond to your Rabb (swt) when He asks you why you stood still while your Ummah was massacred, your sisters dishonoured and the land of Al-Aqsa defiled, when He has placed the Islamic obligation upon your necks of defending your Ummah and liberating its lands? What will you say when He (swt) asks you, ﴿وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاء وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا﴾“And what reason have you not to fight in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: Our Lord! Take us forth from the town whereof the people are oppressors and grant us from You a protector and grant us from You a helper.” [An-Nisa: 75]? So, fear Allah (swt) regarding yourselves before it is too late, and prepare yourselves for the day when you will stand before your Rabb (swt), and your adversary is a child from Gaza or one of its honourable women, saying: ‘O Lord, these people failed me while they were able to support me!’

 O Sincere Officers of the Muslim Armies! You have seen that there is no state, no leadership, no ruler, no international institution today that has the political will to protect the blood of the Muslims or stand for our interests. Our brothers and sisters in Palestine have also been abandoned by the traitorous regimes of the Muslim lands who have strengthened the hand of the Zionist occupation through their peace agreements, normalization, diplomatic relations, and economic cooperation with this genocidal entity, even providing it oil to fuel its war machine and supplying it food while the children of Gaza starve. These Western-implanted and Western-serving agent rulers and regimes have served as the frontline guard to this murderous entity and prevented any movement against it. They have also stood as the custodians of the artificial national borders imposed by colonial governments upon our Muslim lands to divide the Muslims and obstruct you from moving to the aid of your brothers and sisters who reside in a different land to your own, while Allah (swt) says, ﴿إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ﴾“Truly, your Ummah is one Ummah, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.” [Al-Anbiya: 92].

O Sons of the Muslim Armies! How can you accept to serve these Jewish-supporting rulers who made their career out of betrayal of the Muslims, and who have abandoned your Ummah and your Deen? How can you give allegiance to those who habitually failed the Muslims and dishonoured your name by chaining you to your barracks while your Ummah bled? How much more of their cowardice and treachery are your willing to bear when they have displayed openly their loyalty to the Jewish entity and its Western colonial sponsors? These rulers and regimes have used you to prop up their thrones or fight wars on behalf of their Western masters and their interests while refusing to mobilise a single soldier to defend the oppressed Muslims! They have never and will never give the order for you to defend your Ummah! We will never achieve victory in Palestine or against any of our enemies under the continued rule of these treacherous rulers and regimes and their corrupt nationalistic man-made systems which infect our lands and have eroded the bond of Muslim brotherhood. They need to be removed and replaced with the Islamic leadership and System of Allah (swt) - the Khilafah (Caliphate) based upon the method of the Prophethood which is the guardian, protector and shield of the Muslims, as described by our beloved Prophet (saw) who said, «الْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»“The Imam (the Khalifah) is a guardian and he is responsible for his subjects,” and «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ»“Only the Imam (the Khalifah) is a shield, behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with.”

It is the Khilafah alone that will mobilise you to fulfil your true role as defenders, liberators and protectors of your Ummah and Deen as Allah (swt) commands. It is under this state that the great 8^th century Muslim general Muhammad ibn Qasim (RH) was sent to rescue a group of Muslim women who were taken captive by the oppressive Hindu king, Raja Dahir, bringing Sind under the rule of Islam in the process. It is under this state that the 9^th century Khalifah, al-Mutassim bi’llah sent a huge army to rescue a single Muslim woman in Amuriyah, Turkey who was captured by the Romans. It is under this state that the lands of al-Sham were liberated from the crusaders by the great commander Salahuddin Ayyubi. And it is under the Khilafah that the entire Blessed Land of Palestine will be liberated once again, and the flag of Islam raised over al Quds as the capital of the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) Biithnillah!

O People of Power in the Muslim Armies! As the women of this noble Muslim Ummah, we raise a call to you, appealing to your Iman and sense of honour! Rise and overthrow the thrones of these cowardly traitorous rulers and discard these false divisive colonial-imposed borders between our lands, and march to Al Quds to the defense of your mothers and children of Palestine. Emulate the actions of the great commander of the Umayyad Khilafah, Qutayba ibn Muslim, who apprehended those who terrorized Muslim women and refused the treasures of gold and silver offered by the culprits as ransom for their life, declaring his famous words: "No, by Allah, will a Muslim woman ever be terrorized because of you"! We call you to remove these tyrant rulers and regimes who have brought nothing but despair and humiliation to this Ummah and kept you from fulfilling your true role as defenders of the Muslims. Break the shackles of their oppressive rule and give your Nussrah (material support) for the establishment of the Islamic leadership and system of the Khilafah which will unite the Muslims under one system and state implementing the Commands of your Rabb (swt). It will mobilise you to liberate every inch of occupied Muslim land and protect the Muslims, no matter where they live, making you heroes of your Ummah and bringing honour to your name.

O Sincere Soldiers of the Muslim Armies! What is holding you back from rising to your duty, when it is only victory or martyrdom that awaits the one who fights in the Cause of Allah (swt)? We ask you to reflect on what will be written about you in the record of Allah (swt) and what will be written about you in the pages of history? Will you be described as the weak-hearted and dishonourable, or will you be of those who emulated the great heroes and leaders of Islam, embracing a legacy of achieving great victories for your Ummah and your Deen?

O Sincere Sons of the Muslim Armies! The time has come for you to stand with your Ummah and against its enemies! The time has come to take a stand against these traitorous rulers who have blackened your name! The time has come to take your rightful place as defenders of the Muslims and your Deen. Your allegiance belongs to Allah (swt), His Prophet (saw), your Deen and the Muslims – not to these regimes who have sold their soul to their Western masters! What is happening in Palestine today is a war against your Aqeedah, a crusade against Islam and your Ummah where the nations of Kufr have united in support of this usurping entity. It is therefore your war! So what have you offered your Deen?!! We ask you, which one of you wishes to embrace the immense honour in this world and glorious rewards in the Hereafter of being the ones who liberated Al-Aqsa and the Blessed Land of Palestine? We ask you, which one of you wishes to become the Ansar of today by giving your Nussrah for the establishment of the second Khilafah Rashidah, gaining the honour of Saad ibn Muadh (ra) Biithnillah, for whom 70,000 angels attended his Janaza – reflecting the great status bestowed upon the one who gave his military support for the establishment of the Islamic state in Madinah al-Munawwarah?

The hopes of this Ummah are upon you! We are behind you! Allah (swt) is with you. So respond to the Command of your Rabb (swt), and it is victory that awaits you, Biithnillah. So, what is it that you are waiting for? Do not delay! The time to act is now!

 ﴿وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللهِ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَاء وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ * وَعْدَ اللهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾ 

“And that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allāh. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. It is the Promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His Promise, but most of the people do not know.”[Ar-Rum: 4-6]
