Press Release
Systematic Arrests of Hizb ut Tahrir's Members in Kyrgyzstan
(Translated)
K-News reported on February 10, 2015 CE citing the media centre of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Issyk-Kul region that "police have arrested four members of Hizb ut Tahrir from the village of Ak-Terek, they are: Talan Beck (44 years old), and Almaz Beck (43 years old), and Akel Beck (45 years old), and Natheer (38 years old). Also confiscated were 14 books, 42 booklets, 9 notebooks, and 4 DVD discs promoting the ideas of the extremist religious organization Hizb ut Tahrir. Also a rifle of the type AIG -17 without a license was found. These discovered materials were transferred to the security office of the Issyk-Kul region to take the necessary legal action."
The negative attitude of the Kyrgyz authorities towards the Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir members reflects the government's open hostility towards Islam and Muslims. This government mired in corruption and fraud, and competes with opposition forces to remain in power in this country.
Government representatives, and without the fear of Allah, deceive people and plunder their natural resources and country's wealth, and do not heed the conditions of the people, but they throw more of them in the pit of misery and unhappiness. The authorities do not think of how to address the problems of the people and take care of them, but they are only concerned of how to please their masters who appointed them rulers of the country, and they are working to educate the younger generation with toxic secular concepts, which engraves in them the addiction to alcohol and drugs; thus creating slaves who are subservient and spiritually weak. Every year, thousands of innocent people are killed as a result of various conflicts and drug overdose, as well as in traffic accidents caused by the influence of alcohol.
When there comes from among the people who proclaim the truth in the face of the government, unafraid of their evil and criticism, the authorities accuses these honourable and faithful, who truly represent the people, with criminality. The Hizb members provide people with the solutions to their urgent problems on the basis of Islam; Islam is a comprehensive system for life for humans, society, and the state, and offers treatments for any problem that could arise in the lives of human beings.
Hizb ut Tahrir members are the sincere representatives of the people in Kyrgyzstan, they take care of the mothers and fathers to please the Almighty Creator. They are the carriers of beacons of light to save the people with Islam, and are exerting efforts to rid the people of alien ideas of secularism and nationalism, and present them with a constitution on the basis of Islam, to create a righteous generation of Muslims. After listening to the call of the Hizb, the people are starting to realize that the solution lies in Islam, and became more and more accepting to the party's ideas.
This fact has angered the authorities, they began attempts to find justifications for their crimes; they created the idea of the terrorist enemy: "Islam and Muslims." The government, by arresting and accusing the party members and lying by saying that the party undertakes material actions, it is trying to stop the call of Hizb ut Tahrir. Hizb ut Tahrir undertakes ideological and political work to resume the Islamic way of life according to the method of the Prophet (saw), and Allah willing, this call will achieve its objective in spite of all the obstacles that stand in its way. Allah (swt) says:
"They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it" [As-Saff: 8]
