Press Release

The Children of Iraq are Paying the Huge Price in the Colonialists Wars… And so is there one who will come to help?

(Translated)

A report issued by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) under the title “A Heavy Price for Children” revealed that more than 3 million children in Iraq are exposed to the risk of death, injury, sexual violence, kidnapping and forced recruitment into the ranks of the armed groups. The report made clear that a third of the children of Iraq remain in need of humanitarian aid due to the deteriorating living conditions the families are facing as a result of the military operations taking place around Fallujah and near to Mosul.

The report revealed the horrendous figures for cases of kidnapping of those under the age of 8 which has reached 1496 children within the last two and a half years. Also, according to the report, many of those children are compelled to join the fighting otherwise they will be subjected to sexual assault. The report revealed that more than 1.5 million children (i.e. close to 10% of the children) have been forced to flee from their homes as a result of the violence since the beginning of 2014. The report explained that one school in every five is not suitable or viable to be used as a result of the conflict and that means that there are close to 3.5 million children who are unable to continue in education.

These numbers reflect the true reality of the war in Iraq and they expose the false and deceiving slogans in respect to “Fighting terrorism” and the spread of “Democracy and freedoms”. That is because it is a war that aims to accomplish and realise colonial gains and interests for the major colonial powers and to prevent the return of Islam applied through the Khilafah "Caliphate" state (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. And as such, here you have the children of Iraq paying the huge price for the greed of these states (and particularly America) which occupied their land in 2003 and left them suffering with their loved ones from the effects of this occupation up until the present day. And then they returned to renew their war against Iraq in the year 2014 under the pretext of “Fighting the State Organisation (ISIS)”. And it is these alarming numbers that speak plainly about the suffering of the children within this war.

The children of Iraq and particularly in Falluja have paid a huge price in this colonial struggle and competition and have fallen as victims to the criminal plans of America and their attempts to divide Iraq and to spread the spirit of animosity amongst its people in a game shaped upon factional and Madh’habi lines. According to the statistics published by UNICEF in the last month off June, no less than 20,000 children remain besieged inside Falluja and they are suffering alongside their families from difficult humanitarian conditions in terms of hunger, shortage of medicines, humanitarian help and the spread of contagious illnesses. The reports indicate that a number of children have been forced to separate from their families as a result of the siege. This doesn’t even take into account the displacement and the dangers that they face on their journeys.

So how much does the suffering and plight of the children of Iraq resemble the suffering of their brothers in Ash-Shaam? Indeed, how much does it resemble the plight and suffering of Muslim children in every part of this earth? Indeed the chapters of the suffering is as one in the absence of a guardian and protector and under the conspiring of the rulers and their treachery, and the hypocrisy of the international community and its institutions, where they kill the killed person and then follow the procession of their funeral, and where they ignite wars in service to their interests and the innocent are burned by their fire, whilst the organisations find it enough to just count the victims and lament them.

O Muslims:

The time has come to eliminate the criminal agent regimes in the Muslim lands, which have made the lands a source of plunder for the colonialists. The time has come to sever the hands of the western states from our lands. And that is by undertaking the work alongside Hizb ut Tahrir to resume the Islamic life via the establishment of the second rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood.

O Armies in the lands of the Muslims:

Verily, the children of Iraq and all of the Muslim children cry out to you to rid them of this life of suffering and hardship that they are living through. You represent the hope of rescue and removing them and the entire Ummah from this situation. So are you going to respond?
