Muslims in Denmark Will Never Assimilate to the Government’s Genocidal Values

In an extensive and staged interview with Jyllands-Posten on November 18, 2024, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen goes to great lengths to paint an extreme image of the country’s Muslim population. She accuses the Quran of encouraging Muslims to commit crimes, beat their children, and engage in behavior that creates insecurity in public spaces. The alleged danger posed by Muslims living in Denmark is even equated with the threat from “Russia and Putin.”

In the interview, the Prime Minister demands “value-based assimilation” from Muslims, implying that they must abandon their Islamic values. Opinions on homosexuality, Palestine, and using the Quran as a point of reference are singled out as views that render Muslims enemies of society.

This interview comes at a time when none of the government’s political initiatives have succeeded in reversing historically poor polling numbers. The Prime Minister’s failed attempts to project a more sympathetic image have done little to shift public perception of her as a cynical and calculating career politician. Desperately, she now resorts to playing the “Islam card” in the hope of scoring cheap political points.

Her deceitful accusations against the Quran as a source of crime and violence against children are the most grotesque statements ever made by a Danish Prime Minister. In a manipulative manner, she links Islamic values with crime, violence, and unemployment, despite knowing full well that gang crime among young Muslims is driven by fascination with Western culture. An Islamic identity, in fact, is the most effective factor in pulling young people away from this miserable Western lifestyle.

The Prime Minister is fully aware that insecurity and violence are not associated with practicing Muslims. Youth crime rates are historically low and continue to decline year by year. This is precisely due to Mette Frederiksen’s own acknowledgment in the interview: younger generations of Muslims are holding onto Islam more firmly than previous ones.

The image she attempts to portray of Muslims as societal parasites is contradicted by numerous economic analyses, which highlight that the high employment rate of “non-Western immigrants” has been a cornerstone of Denmark’s ongoing economic growth in recent years.

The real threat to Danish society does not stem from the Muslim community but from the Prime Minister’s callousness, which has been starkly evident in her support for the genocide in Gaza. Muslims will never assimilate to her genocidal values, as these appeal neither to them nor to anyone with even a shred of humanity.
