Press Release
The Egyptian Regime Offers People Honey while They Drink Poison from its Hands!
(Translated)
Ahmed Fahmy, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, confirmed that the state has achieved many successes at all levels and fields, explaining that the state is working to address these challenges, saying: “It is natural for citizens to feel a relief that occurs when implementation is complete and all efforts are crystallized.”
A blatant lie, no one will believe. The condition of Egypt and its people is going from bad to worse, and the prices of goods are rising steadily, and the regime is diligent in borrowing and its accompanying submission to the disastrous conditions and decisions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which favour the major capitalists and plunder the country’s wealth. What kind of relief are they talking about when the price of the dollar exceeds 62 pounds in the parallel market in a country that imports most of what it consumes, even wheat and rice, yet it is an agricultural country, while people are prevented from growing what they need?!
Egypt has all the elements that qualify it for that relief that the regime’s spokesman is alluding to, but all of them have been wasted or neglected and people have been prevented from exploiting them. Who is fighting people for their food and livelihood and restricting their means of livelihood? Who is hindering the enormous human capacity that Egypt possesses and claiming that it is devouring its development?
We are facing a bitter reality that becomes more bitter as the hours and minutes pass. The days no longer keep pace with the speed of the collapse that the regime is pushing Egypt and its people into, which has made experts and analysts lower their expectations for the growth of the Egyptian economy. Egypt’s annual inflation rate continued to rise during the month of last September, reaching 40.3%, compared to 39.7% last August, according to previous data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, which also indicated an increase in the monthly inflation rate of 2.1%. Since the beginning of this year, and over the course of five previous meetings, the Central Bank has raised usurious interest rates by 300 basis points, bringing usurious interest rates on deposits and lending to 19.25% and 20.25%, respectively. (Al-Shrouq).
In the same context, there are conditions that the IMF has imposed on the regime to obtain the remaining installments of the previous loan, most notably the flexible exchange rate that is subject to supply and demand, and in the case of Egypt specifically, it is subject to supply only and not demand, as the country does not have products of strategic importance that force countries to import. While Egypt imports many goods, strategic raw materials, and production requirements, even for what is manufactured in Egypt, which does not have the luxury to demand the dollar to provide the important commodities it needs, most notably wheat, Egypt is the first in the world to import it, while it can grow it not only to the point of sufficiency, but it can also export it and get hard currencies from it.
The tragic reality that Egypt is facing has many who describe it, but few who address it, and from here we offer the real solution to all of Egypt’s crises, starting with enabling people to revive the land through agriculture, reconstruction, building factories, etc., and supporting them in this path, through reviewing the contracts of all oil and mineral exploration companies and expelling them all from the country, and the establishment of state-owned companies from the people of the Ummah to carry out exploration operations and extract wealth from its sources and distribute it to the people equally, And exploiting it to support people in agriculture and the industries that complement it, establishing heavy industries, and making the basis of all industries and factories in the country on a military basis.
At the same time, the gold and silver in the country is limited, whether in the state treasury or what the goldsmiths and gold merchants have or even what they have. People, and collect all this gold to mint new money based on gold and silver, while preserving people’s rights to what was taken from them of gold that belongs to them, provided that its owners are compensated for it in exchange for lands or real estate, or a loan is prepared that the state will return to them in its full value when it has what will be extracted from the mines of the country later. Money is then minted and the country’s currency becomes gold and silver or a paper substitute for them, so that the exchange for this paper becomes available for what it is and is at the disposal of its owner whenever one wants, one can obtain it. While ensuring a period during which people get rid of the worthless paper currencies that are still in their hands, provided that the state adheres to buy what it needs in exchange for the country’s hard currencies that still exist, and will not sell its products in exchange for those currencies, but rather in exchange for gold and silver only. Then there will be no inflation, the country’s economy will not suffer, the value of the currency will rise, and people will feel the difference in reality from day one when they start such actions.
All that we presented previously are Shari’ rulings that Islam brought and the state is obligated to implement them all. This is what we can call a real breakthrough if implemented, which is what the current regime linked in its policies to the West has not and will not do. Rather, it needs a new alternative system, so these solutions will not be implemented in isolation from the rest of the rulings of Islam, rather, all of Islam must be implemented in its state, the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), upon the method of the Prophethood.
“O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered.” [Al-Anfal:24]
