Press Release
Muharram 1434 AH Assembly: Women Scholars and Activists Together with the Ummah are Committed to Protecting Women's Honour and Dignity

Being sent to spread Islam, Rasulullah (saw) offered us this noble Deen not to be welcomed only by words, but also to be implemented by all of humanity. Thus, the stands of a state implementing all Islamic roles have become a necessity in the Muslim world. A state that devotes its total efforts for prosperity, calls for jihad to pursue justice, and spreads the goodness worldwide. That is nothing but the Islamic State, the best model of a state to bring prosperity and dignity to its people. The establishment of an Islamic State in Madinah was the very moment in history indicating a new milestone of the Ummah's life. Moreover, under the era of Khaleefah Umar bin Khattab, this moment of Hijrah marked the beginning point in the Hijrah calendar.

With the absence of that state, it is our obligation to dedicate our effort in restoring this concept of governance. The absence of this state led this Ummah into a horrible, poor, and vile condition. Hereby, the mubalighah (conveyance) by Muslim women scholars who have more Islamic knowledge among the Ummah bear more roles in such efforts, determining that the reestablishing of the Khilafah "Caliphate", an Islamic State built upon the Prophethood's method, is a must and Allah's promise.

[وَفِي ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ]

"And in such things, all must be competitive to each other"

These ongoing events of the Muharram 1434H Assembly throughout major cities in Indonesia show the strong commitment of mubalighah and the Ummah to ensure women's dignity and honour by struggling to reestablish an Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State. Therefore, the Muslim women of Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia state:

1. The mubalighah are the reference for solving the Ummah's problems. By this strategic role, the mubalighahs deserve to be the pioneers of a real change who urge and lead the Ummah to gain its glory.

2. The mubalighah have so far lead the women to their roles as mothers and home-makers (umm wa rabbatu bayt). It must be followed by further nurturing so women can be the mothers to raise the next warriors of Islam and to be the teachers of the next generation.

3. The mubalighah should not restrict their Dawah only in delivering Islamic law on the level of morals and worships, but also describe the complete and comprehensive Islamic law including: economy and politics, domestic and international policy, education, monetary system, etc.

This is the only way where the mubalighah and the Ummah prepare themselves to be involved in political activities such as intellectual struggle, political struggle, and accepting the affairs of the people. These political activities are what we believe to lead Muslims to achieve the political power for the restoration of Khilafah "Caliphate".

Therefore, from now on, let's make a call together... This despotism and injustice will never be removed, the rights of women will not be regained, glory will never be guaranteed, but only by the existence of the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State commanding and ruling by Allah's (swt) Divine Laws. The Khilafah "Caliphate" is so close to us. So just reveal the way of truth and join yourselves with the other sincere of the Ummah in Hizb ut Tahrir for reestablishing the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State.
