The Month of Ramadan, The Month of Victories, Has Descended upon us and the Voices of the Bereaved Have Become Hoarse, And There Is No Mu’tasim!!

The month of Ramadan is associated with great events of guidance and glory. In it, the Noble Qur’an was revealed to honour humanity with the finest civilization. In it, the Great Battle of Badr took place, that battle that changed the course of history and distinguished between truth and falsehood, so the Creator, glory be to Him, described it as the Day of Criterion (Al-Furqan). Mecca was conquered in this month, and in it, Andalusia was conquered under the leadership of Tariq bin Ziyad in an epic known as the Battle of Al-Buhaira. In Ramadan the Battle of Ain Jalut took place under the leadership of Sultan Qutuz, in which he eliminated the barbarism of the Mongols, and in it the Battle of Al-Zalaga took place under the leadership of Yusuf bin Tashfin. In it the Frankish army was defeated, and there are many more.

All these epics and victories took place in the month of Ramadan when the Ummah had a state and authority. As soon as the sun of the Khilafah (Caliphate) set in Muslim countries, this noble month and other months began to dawn on the Islamic Ummah bearing tragedies and woes. There are no armies protecting the borders and carrying the banner of jihad to spread light and guidance, nor an Imam that protects it and ward off the rabid dogs of the West from it!

Ramadan today comes as a witness to bear with it the most heinous crime against humanity carried out by the usurping Jewish entity against the oppressed people of proud Gaza. That cowardly entity is unable to confront men. It would not have persisted in its wrongdoing and enjoyed killing innocent women, the elderly and children, had it not been certain of the betrayal of the Muslim rulers who participated in its crime, and the failure of the Muslim armies stationed in their barracks. If the cries of children, the appeal of the bereaved, and the tears of the elderly did not move them, then what would move them?!!

So, forgive us Ramadan, the guardian who mobilizes the armies to the cry of a Muslim woman has disappeared, and the one who addresses an arrogant enemy by saying, “From Harun al-Rashid, the Commander of the Faithful, to Nikephoros, the dog of the Romans,” is absent. After them came successors who inflict terrible torment on the Ummah, they are compassionate towards the disbelievers and harsh to the believers, empowering the enemies of the Ummah over it, squandered its land, and plundered its wealth!

O Muslims, O People of Power and Protection: We in Hizb ut Tahrir, that dedicated itself to work to resume Islamic way of life and liberate the Muslim countries, with the Masra (site of Isra’) of the Messenger of Allah (saw) at the top of the list, and unify them into one state, the Khilafah state. We call on you to obey the command of your Lord, to implement His Shariah, to declare jihad for the sake of Allah to support the oppressed among the Muslims, and to liberate the Muslim countries, including the Great Messenger’s Masra (saw) to remove the humiliation off your necks, and become proud of your Deen, so Ramadan will return to us with conquests and victories, bringing with it a testimony of pride before Allah (swt).

[وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ]

“And say, "Do [as you will], for Allāh will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” [At-Tawbah: 105]
