Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier from the First Generation of Hizb ut Tahrir

(مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا)
“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.” [Al-Ahzaab: 23]

With conviction in the destiny of Allah (swt), Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan mourns to the whole Muslim Ummah and to the people of Jordan in particular one of its Shabab who took the lead in carrying the Da’wah from the first generation:

Al-Haj Raji Musa al-Zghoul
(May Allah have mercy on him)

Who departed to the Mercy of Allah (swt) yesterday, Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 95, after he spent his youth carrying the call for the resumption of the Islamic way of life under the rightly guided Khilafah (Caliphate) state upon the methodology of the Prophethood.

Al-Haj Raji, may Allah have mercy on him and do good to him, was from the first generation in Hizb ut Tahrir who carried the Da’wah and sacrificed everything precious and valuable in the way of Allah Almighty, and he was among the patient who prayed for reward from Allah. He was afflicted by the injustice of the tyrants and the oppressors, but that did not repel him whatsoever from his Deen and his Da’wah.

We ask Allah the Almighty to bless him with His mercy, expand his entry, make honorable his reception and enter him in His wide paradise with the Prophets, Believers, Martyrs, and the Righteous and those are the best companions, and to bestow on us and his family the patience, solace, and consolation.

(إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ)

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Al-Baqarah: 156]
