Obituary of a Dawah Carrier from the Members of Hizb ut Tahrir
[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَاهَدُواْ اللهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allāh. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzab: 23]

Dr. Muhsin Muhammad Hilal Al Khalif Al Azamat (Abu Hafs)

The honourable mentor and educational supervisor and one of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who passed away to the mercy of Allah (swt) on the day of Arafah, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to 15/6/2024 CE, prostrating to Allah in response to the call, on Mount Arafat, performing this great ritual of Hajj, in compliance with the command and action of the Messenger (saw), as he was always, as we assume of him and Allah is his judge, committed to Islam as a doctrine and Shariah ruling, and a carrier of the call to what pleases Allah (swt).

Dr. Mohsin spent his life carrying the call to Islam, he was a spokesman for the truth, an educator, a khatib, and a speaker for the sake of resuming the Islamic way of life and establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He was loved, eloquent, of good conduct, and among the pious and pure. We do not commend him to Allah. He did not fear the blame of a blamer in speaking the truth and the positions that please Allah (swt).

We pray to Allah (swt) to forgive him and send His wide mercy on him, and to make him among the people of the highest Paradise, along with the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the righteous, they are the best companions. We pray to Allah to bestow the best condolences and to inspire patience and steadfastness upon his family, and to maximize their reward in their affliction. We only say what pleases Allah:

[إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

"Indeed we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return." [Al Baqara: 156]
