One year remains for the fourth multiparty democracy general elections scheduled to be held in October 2010 to elect the President of United Republic of Tanzania, President of Zanzibar, Members of the Union Parliament of Tanzania as well as Members of Zanzibar House of Representatives (Lower Chamber).
