Obituary of Political Thinker Fawzi Nasser (Abul-Abd)

(يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ * ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً *
فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي * وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي)

“[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul, * Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], * And enter among My [righteous] servants * And enter My Paradise.” [Al-Fajr: 27-30]

With believing hearts in Allah’s decree and destiny, and with more sadness and sorrow, members of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Kuwait mourn the Ustadh and political thinker Fawzi Nasser (Abul-Abd), who passed away on the morning of Wednesday, 6 Sha’ban 1443 AH corresponding to 9/3/2022 CE, at the age of 85.

He was one of the righteous men, and had a good relationship with the members. We ask Allah (swt) to make his abode his vast gardens, to make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.

(إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ)

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Al-Baqara: 156]
