The Authority Carries Out Abuse against a Member of Hizb ut Tahrir
(Translated)

The authority is engaged in arbitrary arrests in a barbaric manner that may outweigh the arrests of the regime of Hafez Al-Assad, during the time when his forces were present in Lebanon, it was the former, then known as the security system.

A few days ago, a media student, Tariq Ashimali was arrested by the Lebanese General Security Service from inside the university campus; we have yet to receive any information about him. We fear that the authority will fabricate false charges against him as a result of his free writings and intense tweets that support the oppressed and condemn the oppressor, and this is not surprising from the authority and its agencies. There are hundreds of cases to prove this.

We affirm that Tariq Ashimali is a member of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Lebanon, and does not belong to any other organization, it is surprising that he is accused of extremism and terrorism, we warn them of inflating his file.

The authority in Lebanon must stop the policy of arbitrary arrests and fabrication of terrorism charges against those who uphold the word of truth.

Allah (swt) said:

(وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِاللهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ)

“And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy” [Al-Buruj: 8].
