 Press Release
The Tragic Events in Ain El Hilweh
and the Delegation tour of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Lebanon
(Translated)

In the shadow of the tragic events that have afflicted our people in Ain El Hilweh camp, through which Hizb ut Tahrir has repeatedly warned of the sanctity of Muslims blood, rather the prohibition of killing the soul which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, and the prohibition of a Muslim’s pointing his weapon in the face of his brother, so how about killing him!? And then the party’s alerting of the association of such events and their predecessors with foreign agendas, and that each gun used in such battles is a tampering gun, intended to dye the camp and its people in a way that enables every enemy to impose his agenda pretexts of “terrorism” and “extremism” and similar idioms whose source and orientation became known, and the rejection to have any sincere voice heard in any spot no matter how small it is.

And the party’s emphasize that dealing with the file of Ain al-Hilweh camp and other Palestinian camps should not be treated as a security issue leading to what resulted from such a deal in other camps, most notably Nahr al-Bared camp, and that the origin is the political engagement of its case with the political actors ...

In light of these events, and through this warning, a delegation of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Lebanon toured the Islamic and Palestinian leaderships, indicating its point of view and stressing its stand by every voice that rejects the fighting among Muslims, and refuses to resolve matters between the people of one religion and one issue with weapons, blood and tampering.

Hizb ut Tahrir was represented in this visit by a number of its members from the Administrative Board of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Lebanon, the Central Contact Committee in the party, Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Lebanon, and Hizb ut Tahrir’s leaders and activists in Ain El Hilweh camp and the neighborhood.

The delegation began its visits with a meeting with the leadership of the Fatah movement in Lebanon in its office in Sidon, represented by the secretary of the movement in Lebanon, Fathi Abu al-Urdat, member of the Revolutionary Council, Rifat Shana'a, and secretary of the factions of the PLO and the Fatah movement in Sidon, Brigadier General Maher Shbaitah.

Then, the party delegation visited Brigadier General Mahmoud Issa, "Allino", the leader of what has become known as the reformist movement within the Fatah movement in Sidon and the South.

The delegation then headed to meet with the Islamic forces in Ain al-Hilweh camp, represented by Sheikh Jamal Khattab, the leader of the Mujahid Islamic Movement and Secretary of the Islamic forces, leading a delegation of the Mujahid Islamic Movement, and Sheikh Abi Tariq al-Sa'di, Islamic Osbat al-Ansar official, leading a delegation of Osbat al-Ansar.

This visit by Hizb ut Tahrir, comes from the basis of adoption of the interests of the Muslims as a legitimate duty which Allah placed on the neck of every person who Allah has entrusted him a matter of Muslims affairs, indicating the provisions of Islam and stressing that spreading the clear, pure and crystallized awareness on the provisions of Islam is what protects their youth, especially the enthusiasts among them, from being exploited by their enemy to ignite sedition and fighting, and the attempts to distort the image of Islam, its people and its systems ...

We finally like to thank the warm hospitality we have received and the meeting of the hosts, and the response to what has been presented in depth and the emphasis of the need to continue these meetings for the good of our people and our country.

Allah be behind our intention and He is a Guide to the straight path.
