A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Lebanon Visited Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora

A delegation from the Central Contact Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Lebanon headed by Dr. Muhammad Jaber and the membership of Eng. Saleh Salam and Eng. Salahuddin Idada visited former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora at his residence in Beirut on Friday 30/3/2018, during which the situation of Lebanon and the region and the merit of the upcoming parliamentary elections were discussed.

The delegation presented Hizb's view of the danger of using sectarianism in the political merit, especially the upcoming elections. The delegation pointed out the vision of Hizb ut Tahrir on the entity of Lebanon and its crises and the need to break out from the closed circle resulting from its current structure and its external ties, which will only be resolved by Islam.

The delegation also referred to the importance of the role of political actors, particularly Muslims, in working for the project of establishing the rule of Islam as a legitimate duty upon every Muslim, and the need to have an effective role even in the existing circumstances in the issues of Muslims and the adoption of their interests.
