The Fall of the Tyrant Regime in Syria is a Joy for the Oppressed
(Translated)

We congratulate Muslims in general and the people of the Levant and Lebanon in particular on the fall of the tyrant of ash-Sham, the Baath Party, the Al-Assad family, their henchmen, informants and lackeys, who made Muslims taste the horrors of massacres, torture, killing, arrests and displacement... in Lebanon and Syria.

On December 8, 2024, Bashar fled from the revolutionary people and his unjust rule ended. It is time to punish the criminals. Muslims have the right to great joy, and our joy will not be complete except by implementing Allah’s law and unifying the Muslim countries.

Oh, Our People in Lebanon: You are part of the Levant (ash-Sham) and the lands of Muslims, and the lackeys of the tyrant of ash-Sham have always humiliated you as they humiliated the displaced people of Palestine. It is time for you to shake off the dust of humiliation and unite in confronting your enemies who are lurking around you, from the Jewish entity, to its guardians from the rulers, to their masters in the West.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Lebanon urge you to work with us to fulfill the promise of Allah Almighty to resume Islamic life by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which will rule with Islam and carry it to the entire world. On that day, the believers will rejoice in Allah’s victory, and the restoration of the Ummah’s entity will be a relief for Muslims and others. Just as everyone has enjoyed their rights under the Khilafah (Caliphate) for hundreds of years, including security, safety, preservation of property, education, medical treatment, and care, you will enjoy the same under your state, the Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood.

The Lebanese authorities must take the initiative to release the Islamist detainees from Roumieh Prison and the prisons of Lebanon who were unjustly and aggressively imprisoned, without exception, on charges of supporting the revolution of ash-Sham so that the joy of the Muslims of Lebanon will be an undiminished joy.

[وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ]

“But it was Our Will to favour those who were oppressed in the land, making them models ˹of faith˺ as well as successors” [Al-Qasas 28:5]
