Press Release
The Blood, the Soul and the Lands of the Muslim Ummah are Always in Danger Without the Guardian
At a time when the country is hit by the election fever, we are shocked by the murder of an Imam from Palestine, who was gunned down while walking from his house to the surau (Musolla) for Fajr prayers. The lecturer of the University of Kuala Lumpur British-Malaysia Institute (UniKL BMI), Dr. Fadi M R Albatsh Fatma, 35, was shot from close range by two motorcyclists and died at the scene. The Police Chief of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Mazlan Lazim said that a closed-circuit television (CCTV) recording showed two men on a high-powered motorcycle waiting for the victim outside his condominium, before firing on the Imam. In addition to a motive factor, the assassination, which was carried out in open space was certainly perpetrated with determination and was clearly well-planned.
Hizb ut Tahrir / Malaysia would hereby like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the victim and may Allah grant them strength and steadfastness in facing this test. May Allah (swt) accept all the good deeds done by the victim throughout his life.
Two years ago, we were shocked by the murder of King Jong Nam, a step brother of the North Korean leader, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 2, which was also a well-planned and determined assassination, committed in open space. The most tragic and sensational murder of an outsider in Malaysia was that of a Mongolian model, Altantuya Shaariibuu which “haunts” the country until today. In addition to open killings of non-Malaysian citizens in this country, the same style of killing on Malaysian citizens itself, from low-profile to high-profile cases, has apparently become a common phenomenon. Two years ago, the country was stunned by the murder of a man who was gunned down by four motorcyclists with about 16 shots from close range, near the traffic light junction of Jalan Genting Klang, Setapak. The assassination of the founder of the Arab-Malaysian Banking Group (AmBank), Hussain Ahmad Najadi on July 29, 2013, also shocked the country when he was shot dead in an open car park. In the same year, the deputy director-general of Customs Department, Datuk Shaharuddin Ibrahim, was shot dead by two motorcyclists while he was stopping at a traffic light junction in Putrajaya.
Nowadays, killings carried out in open spaces in Malaysia have become a common occurrence besides other types of murders. These crimes had certainly raised many questions and cause worry to the people. Despite the stringent laws on firearms in Malaysia, how did these killers get their weapons and ammunitions so easily? This question, together with questions related to motives and scandals, and those related to the seriousness and efficiency of the government and the authorities in safeguarding the population who are constantly vulnerable to various threats, be it in closed or open spaces, are constantly playing in people’s minds.
Many newspapers reported that the murder of the Palestinian Imam was masterminded by the Intelligence Agency of the Jewish entity, Mossad, as quoted by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Chief, Khaled al-Batsh. Khaled in a statement, as reported in the news portal of the said illegal entity, Haaretz, also acknowledged that Fadi was a Palestinian engineer and was involved in the Hamas movement. However, the Defense Minister of Jewish entity was quoted as denying the involvement of Mossad.
If Mossad was really behind the scene, then we should return to the main issue of Palestine. Mossad exists because of the existence of (Israel) which exist on the land of Palestine in a heinous way with the help of the Kuffar British. The illegal Jewish entity is now well-guarded by the Kuffar powers in particular the United States of America and the United Nations (UN). This is the root of the problem of Palestine, that is, the Muslim’s land that was taken by force by the Jews to set up their illegal entity known as (Israel). Thus, for so long as (Israel) is not uprooted, Mossad may always exist and perpetrate heinous crimes for the Jewish entity. Palestine must be liberated by way of jihad by the rulers and the armies of the Muslims, and only by this way that (Israel) will be uprooted. The blessed land will continue to be occupied and its people will continue to be the victims of the Kuffar as long as Palestine is not liberated. This situation is not just confined to Palestine, should we look at every corner of the world, there is no security and peace for the Muslims and their lands when the world is dominated by the enemies of Islam and their agents. There is no peace and security for the Muslims when they are ruled by Western-bowing, treacherous and selfish rulers, who never cared about the safety and security of the Ummah. Indeed, there will be no safety and security for Muslims and their lands without its Guardian, the pious Khalifah (Caliph) who rules a Khilafah State (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.
