Hizb ut-Tahrir organised big protest demonstrations in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi against the Swat military operation and strongly condemned this American war whose only fuel is the blood of Muslim soldiers and people of swat and making Muslim fight Muslim.

Today a delegation of Hizb ut-Tahrir comprising deputy spokesman Imran Yousafzai and member Tahir Sadozai handed over a protesting letter to the Uzbek embassy in Islamabad. The letter was against the torture and persecution being unleashed by the Uzbek tyrant regime against the non-violent struggle of Hizb ut-Tahrir. The latest victim of this tyranny is Ismat Hudoyberdiyev who was tortured and killed in jail by the brutal regime of Uzbekistan.

To counter the growing negative opinion within the Ummah regarding the Malakand operation, American agencies have adopted lowly acts of aggression.  The recent bomb blast in Lahore in front of the buildings of ISI and Rescue 15 is one such example. Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly condemns the bomb blast, perpetrated at the behest of the Americans and demands that the ISI and the Army give a befitting response.

Hizb ut-Tahrir vehemently and categorically condemns the recent drone attack in Bannu and the news about future plans of American to conduct more drone attacks in Baluchistan. Pakistan is facing American war but unfortunately the ruling and opposition parties are keeping the Ummah engulfed in useless political tag-of-wars instead of helping her defend itself
