On Saturday, 12th November 2016, fifty two people were killed by a bomb blast at the Shrine of Shah Noorani, situated in Kuzdar, Baluchistan, 250 km away from Karachi. Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemns this brutal bomb blast and prays for the salvation of those who were killed in this attack and patience for their relatives.

Upon the victory of the Republican Donald Trump in the US presidential elections, Pakistan's Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, was quick to congratulate, with the official PML-N Twitter account proclaiming, "Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif congratulates President-elect of the United States of America Mr Donald J Trump on his historic victory in the 2016 US Presidential Elections" [pic.twitter.com/JsKTCqxx2a].

At least sixty police cadets and guards have been killed in an attack by militants on a heavily fortified police college in the Pakistani city of Quetta, in the constantly troubled province of Baluchistan. Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemn this brutal attack.

Pakistani Parliament on 6th October 2016 passed laws to increase sentences for rapists and those who commit so-called honor killings of women, closing a provision that allowed pardon from the family of the victim, after hours of heated debate between Islamist and liberal lawmakers.
