There is no Honor in Nawaz Sharif Plunging into the Lizard's Hole of Liberalism to Earn the Blessings of Washington for another Term

The Pakistani Parliament on 6th October 2016 passed laws to increase sentences for rapists and those who commit so-called honor killings of women, closing a provision that allowed pardon from the family of the victim, after hours of heated debate between Islamist and liberal lawmakers. Whilst basking in praise and fanfare from Western capitals, the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, hailed the passage of the legislation, proclaiming “no honor in honor killings,” whilst adding that, “I congratulate the Parliament, the NGOs, civil society, academia, media and all those who worked hard and supported us in the passage of this legislation.” Hizb ut Tahrir proclaims clearly that there is no honor in the regime implementing laws based on liberal freedoms and secularism, when the comprehensive implementation of Islam alone will secure the rights of men and women, without spreading corruption in society. And there is no honor in Nawaz Sharif opening the flood gates to corruption and depravity to drown our youth, just so as to portray himself as a liberal politician who is indispensable to his masters, so that he can earn yet another term with the blessings of Washington.

RasulAllah (saaw) said,

«لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سَنَنَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ شِبْرًا بِشِبْرٍ وَذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعٍ حَتَّى لَوْ دَخَلُوا فِي جُحْرِ ضَبٍّ لاَتَّبَعْتُمُوهُمْ»‏.‏ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ آلْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى قَالَ: «فَمَنْ؟»‏

“You would tread the same path as was trodden by those before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they had entered into the hole of the lizard, you would follow them in this also.” We said: Allah's Messenger, do you mean Jews and Christians (by your words) "those before you"? He said:

“Who else (than those two religious groups)?”‏ [Muslim].

Instead of referring to the Quran and the Sunnah, which are comprehensive and valid for every time and place, the regime bows to the dictates of Western NGOs and officials, whose liberal and secular values are unable to secure decency, virtue and protection of women, whether in the West, from where they originate from, or in the Muslim countries, which they target. Such honor crime laws are established according to the criterion of the West and its organizations which call for degradation, decadence, nakedness and depravity in the name of secularism, liberalism and "personal freedom." The Westerners wish that Muslims through such liberalization pay no regard to their honour and that they remain silent when confronted by depravity, which would only encourage weak people to commit fornication and adultery, without fear of consequences. Allah (swt) said,

[وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً]

“They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike” [Surah an-Nisaa 4:89]. The Muslim World, rather the entire World witnessed the decadence and true face of Western Civilization when the recently leaked video of Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for President became public in which he discussed women in a degrading manner objectifying them as sexual instruments who exist to satisfy sexual desires of men.

If the Raheel-Nawaz regime really were sincere to women's rights as the basis for solving the problems of men and women, it would address the problem of youth not being able to afford marriage through financial hardships, it would prevent lewd and wanton display in public places, it would prevent free mixing between men and women, it would oblige men and women to cover according to Islamic rulings and it would prevent television stations and websites from promoting the corrupt, lowly Western lifestyle, wherein women are reduced to a commodity and entertainment for man. Moreover were it sincere to women, it would culture men and women according to the concepts of Islam for social life, whether through education, media, mosques or other platforms. Instead the regime deliberately changes the education curriculum to distance the youth from their Islam, denying them deep insight into their Deen. Moreover it promotes every lowly aspect of Western civilization and lifestyle, blindly imitating them at every level of the state, even though the Western values have laid waste to all sense of family, motherhood, fatherhood, dignity and honour in their own homelands.

However, such matters are far from the minds of Nawaz Sharif and his cronies, as their sole focus is clinging to their thrones, even at the heavy cost of the loss of their Aakhira.

Not only is the current fiasco over honour laws an indicator of just how far Nawaz Sharif is willing to go to cling to power, it is a somber reminder for the Islamic loving Muslims of Pakistan that they must abandon and reject the piecemeal, gradual approach to implementation of Islam in authority. Not only does gradualism carry the sin of partial implementation of Islam, it allows those with malicious agenda against Islam to exploit the situation to attack Islam.

This is why Muslims must not use the laws enacted under General Zia’s era of so-called ‘Islamization’ while they were not, nor the laws enacted by subsequent governments as a standard for implementing Islamic solutions to social problems rather their standard must be the comprehensive and uncompromising implementation of Islam alone which is only possible through the Khilafah "Caliphate" State. So we call on all Muslims, men and women, young and old, to work to ensure the comprehensive implementation of Islam through the second Khilafah "Caliphate" on the Method of the Prophethood in order to preserve their honor, to safeguard the dignity and above all to seek the pleasure of Allah (swt).

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ]

“O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.” [At-Tahreem:6]
