Statement from a dawah carrier of Khilafah:
Rulers are Taking Shameful Revenge Through Filing Cases of Heinous Crimes which is Indicative of their Intellectual Bankruptcy

Asslamu alaikum,

My name is Arshad. I am the father of three children and belong to a middle class family. I am an I.T. consultant by profession and contribute to society through my knowledge and skill since the last 10 years.

I was arrested by the SHO Township police station on 11 August 2012 when I went to the police station for getting my motorbike released. I was kept there for the next 24 hours in a small dungeon so that the agencies, who are following the diktats of the American pawns, the traitors within the civil and military leadership, could harass me. Meanwhile, my friends and others who reached the police station inquiring about me were lied to about my arrest and it was claimed by the police that they have no knowledge about my whereabouts.

On 12 August, an FIR was filed against me and I was presented to media with my faced covered as if ammunition has been discovered from me. In the FIR they included, besides other, the clauses of treason and notorious non-bailable Pakistan Army Act [PAA Section ii (D)] enabling the authorities to initiate court marshal proceedings against me - having the maximum penalty of death sentence - if they were able to prove the false cases in the courts. While the proceedings of the court were in progress another FIR was registered against me in the same week in the defense police station. The clauses in that FIR were even harsher. Two and half months passed while I faced these charges while imprisoned in jail and eventually I was acquitted by the courts. My case is just one example of such revenge actions being initiated against sincere Dawah Carriers.

This revenge action was undertaken against me to teach me a lesson for filing a writ petition against the rulers at a time when they initiated a campaign of kidnapping, torture and threats of murders against peaceful political workers of Hizb ut Tahrir. During that campaign these traitors persecuted the educated youth like Imran Yousafzai and respectable elders of the likes of Dr. Abdul Qayyum. There is a long list of such respectable citizens who faced the tyranny of these rulers.

The appalling extreme of these actions is that the government has started raiding the sittings in which debates and discussions take place, disregarding the sanctity of the home. In these sittings and discussion forums important national and international issues and intellectual topics are discussed and their solutions from Quran and Sunnah are presented. The attendees of these discussions include traders, teachers, doctors, engineers, information technology experts, property dealers, managers, accountants, students and other people from different walks of life. These peoples are arrested and humiliatingly presented in front of media to undermine their self respect. Some lost jobs, other's education become affected and some face economic loss in their businesses. These responsible people of the society were persecuted merely because they want a real change in the society and are aware that this change is not possible without the re-establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate", and they joined the ideological party Hizb ut Tahrir for this endeavor - a party, whose political and intellectual challenge to different Muslim governments has made such governments fearful of the party. Hizb ut Tahrir is a non violent political party that was banned by General Musharraf in 2003 to please US since Hizb ut Tahrir was exposing the cowardice and treachery of America's loyal servant. In the guise of this ban, a malicious propaganda against this party and its members is on-going. As a first ploy, baseless allegation of religious intolerance, sectarianism and promoting inflammatory ideas was leveled against the party and as a last tactic, heinous allegations of creating discord and disharmony and the attempt to weaken Pakistan's Armed forces are being leveled against it, whereas the reality is quite the opposite. Hizb ut Tahrir is looking for a unitary state that would eradicate the artificial boundaries among Muslim countries and whose citizens from different color, race, religion and localities will secure equal rights. And this state will present these universal ideals to the whole world.

Hizb ut Tahrir presents the idea of a state where the ruling will be centralized, however, fully accountable. Economy of this state will target the elimination and not just the reduction of poverty. The judiciary will provide quick and free justice. The education system will produce world's most capable people as was the case in the past. Its foreign policy will give birth to a new just world order and its army will liberate Kashmir, Afghanistan, Palestine, Afghanistan and all occupied Muslim territories. All these steps will challenge the political and economic hegemony of the US. This agenda is why the West fears the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate", and is pre-empting its return by asking her agents in the Muslim World, the Muslim rulers, to ban Hizb ut Tahrir in their countries, which could become a starting pointing for the Khilafah "Caliphate".

Pakistan was secured in the name of Islam, not to serve US interests. "What is the meaning of Pakistan لا الہ الا اللہ " was the slogan for which our forefathers sacrificed their lives, wealth and honor. They gave their blood to this tree called Pakistan. Why is then calling for the implementation of Islam in this country such a big crime? Those who call for an Islamic state are kidnapped and tortured since they remind these rulers to fear Allah and remember that they have to stand in front of Him on the Day of Judgment, a day when every traitor will be identified by his flag of treachery raised according to his level of treachery.

We the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir have been booked in different cases for political revenge since we account these intellectually bankrupt rulers in a powerful manner. We are humiliated for our love of Islam and because of our struggle against those who oppose Islam's return to political power.

I ask, should there be a ban on the discussions on the universal values of Islam, Islam's political system, and re-establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" ar-Rashidah? I ask, should there be a ban on exposing the links, collusion and hidden as well as open cooperation between the Muslim rulers and the West, especially the US? Should there be a ban on exposing the treacheries of those from the civilian and military leadership involved in conspiracies against the people of Pakistan and its armed forces?

Hizb ut Tahrir carries out all such actions through non-violent political struggle. So should there be a ban on Hizb ut Tahrir?

I demand the following:

a) From the free media to expose the unwarranted baseless ban on Hizb ut Tahrir and give it the right of presenting its views.

b) From the Human Rights organizations to campaign against the ban on Hizb ut Tahrir whose workers are even denied their basic citizenship rights.

c) From judiciary to investigate the false cases registered against the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir and declare void the unjust notification banning the activities of Hizb ut Tahrir.

I wish to remind the law enforcement personnel including the personnel of intelligence agencies that Allah (swt) would not accept their excuse of following orders and such similar explanations on the Day of Judgment as they are well aware that such orders are coming from traitors in the civilian and military leadership to secure US interests. The Prophet peace be upon him said;

"السَّمْعُ وَالطَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ مَا لَمْ يُؤْمَرْ بِالْمَعْصِيَةِ فَإِذَا أُمِرَ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَلَا سَمْعَ وَلَا طَاعَةَ"

"If he is ordered to do a sinful act, a Muslim should neither listen nor obey." [Narrated by Muslim]

Whilst writing these words, I came to know that another false case has been filed against me on charges of terrorism. I am not sure how many more cases will be filed against me for speaking the Haqq and once this statement reaches the media.
