Blind to the Suffering of the Uighur Muslims, the Bajwa-Imran Regime Strengthens Chinese Economic Domination of Pakistan

Addressing the Pakistan and China Investment Forum in Beijing on 28 April 2019, Imran Khan stated, “Pakistan is looking towards relocation of Chinese industry in Pakistan. Pakistan is blessed with a youth bulge and its future is very bright.” Indeed, Pakistan has great potential, however, the visionless Bajwa-Imran regime is destroying that potential, by forging economic alliance with a colonialist Chinese state that is in open war with our great Deen.

O Muslims of Pakistan!

With whom exactly is the regime making alliance? China confines hundreds of thousands of Uighur Muslims in concentration camps, shackles and tortures them, pours cement in their mouths until suffocation, prevents the chaste Muslim women from conceiving and giving birth, castrates Muslim men and places Chinese spies in Muslim homes in flagrant disregard to Islamic laws of privacy and separation of genders. Yet, the Bajwa-Imran regime makes alliance with a clear enemy to Islam, even though Allah (swt) said,

(إِنَّمَا يَنْهَاكُمْ اللَّهُ عَنْ الَّذِينَ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوا عَلَى إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَنْ تَوَلَّوْهُمْ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ الظَّالِمُونَ)

“Allah forbids your alliance with those who fight you because of your Deen, and drive you from your homelands, or aid others to do so: and as for those who turn to them in alliance, they are truly oppressors.” [Surah al-Mumtahina 60:9].

And for what exactly is the regime abandoning the Uighur Muslims for? China’s CPEC is nothing but a one way deal, where China exploits Pakistan’s resources for Chinese industry, establishes Pakistan’s dependence on Chinese capital, imports and labor, crushing Pakistan’s local agriculture and industry, whilst enriching China’s banking system and industrialists through drowning Pakistan in floods of interest based loans and contracts biased in favor of Chinese investors. Yet, the sinful regime promises rivers of milk and honey through alliance with the Chinese, even though Allah (swt) said,

( مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلاَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ)

“Neither those who followed earlier revelation who deny the truth, nor the Mushrikeen like to see good bestowed upon you from your Sustainer; but Allah bestows grace upon whom He chooses- for Allah is limitless in His great bounty.” [Surah al-Baqara 2:105].

Certainly, we will only know of security and prosperity through the re-establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, which will rain blessings upon us through ruling us by all that Allah (swt) has revealed.
