End American Raj, Establish the Khilafah
Raheel-Nawaz Regime Strives to Secure Permanent US Presence

Hizb ut Tahrir condemns the Raheel-Nawaz regimes preparing the justification for a continued US presence in the region, after a limited US withdrawal. In an interview published on 1 January 2014, the regime's new ambassador as the United States, Jalil Abbas Jilani, warned that, "Even the talk of US pullout has started having its impact. Pakistan has started to receive more Afghan refugees than before ... In case the bulk of the troops withdraw, the major responsibility would lie on our shoulders."

This statement is a lie, as it asserts that the region would be in a worse situation after a partial American withdrawal. In fact over a decade of ever expanding presence has proven that both Pakistan and Afghanistan are in dire need of a complete end to the American presence in the region, including its embassies, consulates, diplomatic staff, intelligence and private military. It is this US presence which allows the continued presence of the Raymond Davis network within Pakistan, which is responsible for the campaign of bombings and assassinations within our borders, used as a justification to ensnare our armed forces in the tribal regions. It is this US presence that has secured an Indian presence within Afghanistan that it is using to destabilize Pakistan through Baluchistan and the tribal areas. And it is this US presence which has brought devastation and misery to the Muslims of Afghanistan.

Moreover, the timing of this statement indicates that nothing has changed since the time of Musharraf-Aziz or Kayani-Zardari. This statement comes after America declared that it is not leaving completely. On 3 December 2013, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Nisha Desai Biswal declared, "Our engagement with the Pak-Afghan region is an enduring one. We are not going away. We are not going anywhere." And it comes after America seeking to secure a permanent presence. On 7 December US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel said he had received assurances during a visit to Kabul that a deal allowing US troops to stay in Afghanistan after 2014 would be signed "in a timely manner". Thus, the Raheel-Nawaz regime is walking along the same path of treachery, as the Kayani-Zardari regime before it and the Musharraf-Aziz regime before that.

The urgent need of the time is the re-establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" which will immediately act against the enemy infrastructure within our region by all the means available to it. It is only under the Khilafah "Caliphate" that we will have a regime that submits to the commands of Allah (swt), rather than submit and capitulate to our destructive enemies. Allah (swt) said,

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ]

"O you who believe! Do not take My enemy and your enemy as allies, meeting them with softness. Indeed, they disbelieve in that which has come to you of truth." [Al-Mumtahina: 1]
