The Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza
(Translated)

On Wednesday evening, 15 January 2025, it was announced that a ceasefire agreement and a prisoner exchange deal had been reached in Gaza. With the announcement, the feelings of the people of Gaza and all of Palestine, and even all Muslims, overflowed with joy mixed with anticipation of the implementation of the ceasefire, and ending of the destruction and siege. The killing and burning have continued, and the hunger, fear and cold have continued, and they continue to this hour despite the announcement. We ask Allah (swt) for Gaza and its people, and the protectors of the borders who have gone with their rewards, to relieve their distress and secure their fears. We ask Him for Paradise for its martyrs, healing for its wounded, shelter for its displaced, and honour and the best reward for its mujahideen, and to reward its people for their patience with a great reward, for they were a model of courage and an example of patience.

With this announcement, we must pause and summarize it in the following points:

First: The Jewish entity was struck on October 7th, 2023 in a fatal manner. It was a memorable day, as the besieged group, with few equipment and supplies, but with great faith and trust in Allah, placed the prestige of the “invincible” army under the feet of the Ummah, breaking its deterrence and trampling its prestige in the dirt, making its entity sense the danger to its existence. It saw in Al-Aqsa Flood Operation a prelude to its demise. This was the advance of the small group, so what will happen if some of the soldiers of the Ummah that surround it from every side advance?

Second: It was the duty of the Ummah and its armies in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, etc. to move with all their might towards the Blessed Land to liberate it. This way the Ummah would rejoice in Allah’s victory and with the liberation of Al-Quds. But may Allah curse the traitorous, subservient regimes that have shackled them from jihad in the way of Allah. May Allah curse them, for they have enabled those who have incurred wrath to shed our blood, destroy our homes, and desecrate our Al-Aqsa Mosque. They have provided them with all the means for oppression to frighten the Ummah from taking any move to support their people, brothers, and the place of their Prophet’s Night Journey (saw). So, the Ummah grew certain that its glory and the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque will not come except by removing the subservient regimes and establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood.

Third: The Jews have poured out their hatred through brutality, killing, destruction, siege and crimes that testify to their brutality, with the full support of the spiteful West and the backing of traitorous, agent regimes whose hostility to Gaza is no less than that of the Jews themselves. Despite all of this, the Jewish entity has not been able to restore the image of deterrence that it wanted, nor has it achieved the goals that it declared and imagined achieving. The mujahideen did not surrender or declare submission, but rather they continued to hurt it in all of Gaza, even in its north, until the last moment, even though it had turned it into a leveled ground. Nor was it able to displace its people or recover its prisoners. Its reality has become entrenched in the mind of the Ummah, even though it kills a lot, but it is not worthy of meeting the heroes of Islam on the battlefield, nor those who were raised on the love of martyrdom and jihad for the sake of Allah. Rather, after more than four hundred and sixty days of its bombardment of Gaza, it has become closer to its demise than its survival.

Fourth: This war will remain in the memory of the people of Gaza and the entire Ummah, because it was not only a war with the usurping entity only, but it was a war and confrontation with America, the head of kufr (disbelief), and with most of the Western countries, and before them the regimes of treason, betrayal and siege in the countries encircling it and those beyond them. America is the one that supplied the Jews with weapons and ammunition and covered up their crimes in international forums, and it is the one that made the treacherous Muslim rulers open up the lands of the Muslims to be routes for supplying them with weapons, food, drink and fuel, so that they could continue their crimes.

The truth of this war is that it is a war between belief and disbelief, as America and its followers and supporters were the ones fighting in Gaza, but the opposite truth is that if the entire world gathered to kill this Ummah despite its weakness and fragmentation, and to inflict heavy wounds on it, it would not be able to defeat it, if it believed in its Lord and put its trust in Him.

Because of this truth also, the people of Gaza, its Mujahideen and its politicians must be extremely wary of these killers when they come with aid by the same hands that came to the entity with shells and lava fire, and be wary as well of those who carried out the siege, betrayal and failure in the name of mediation, and were closer to the Jewish entity than to Gaza and its people.

Fifth: The ceasefire with that deal, despite the joy and relief it brings to the people of Gaza and the cessation of killing and aggression, does not mean security from the deceit and treachery of those about whom Allah (swt) says:

[أَوَكُلَّمَا ‌عَاهَدُوا عَهْداً نَبَذَهُ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ]

“Why is it that every time they make a covenant, a group of them casts it aside? In fact, most of them do not believe.” [Al-Baqara: 100].

They are the people of treachery and breaking of covenants. The people of Gaza and all of Palestine are between the hammer of the Jews and the anvil of the agent regimes, and they have no security except by liberating all of Palestine. There is no retribution for the blood of Gaza and no complete healing for its wounds except by purifying the blessed land from the filth of the Jews, and this is the duty of the Ummah and its armies that does not fall by procrastination, nor does it end with a deal.

In conclusion: The meanings of Jihad, the heroism of the Mujahideen, the term zero distance and the image of the prostrating martyr will not be erased from the memory of the Ummah. Rather, they will inspire an entire Ummah as they inspired Al-Jazi, and revived the meanings of Jihad, patience and steadfastness and fueled the Ummah, so it became an Ummah yearning for Jihad and liberation. After that, it became more convinced that it is the regimes that are shackling it. It is about to break the shackles of those regimes, and organize and arranges its ranks and raise the banner of Jihad and liberation. The events in Gaza have spoken, that this Ummah is alive and will not die, rather it is preparing for the liberating day and liberation to return as it was, and to open the lands and shade the world with its authority as the Messenger of Allah (saw) gave the glad-tidings:

«إِنَّ اللهَ ‌زَوَى ‌لِي الْأَرْضَ، فَرَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا، وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي سَيَبْلُغُ مُلْكُهَا مَا ‌زُوِيَ ‌لِي مِنْهَا،...»

“Allah gathered together the earth for me and I saw its eastern and western parts. My people will attain to rule over it so far as it was gathered together for me.”

[وَلَقَدْ ‌سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ * إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ * وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ]

“Our Word has already gone forth to Our servants, the messengers, that they would surely be helped, and that Our forces will certainly prevail” [As-Saffat: 171-3]
