Refutation of the Information Published in the Newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets in Nizhny Novgorod"

On 16 October 2014, the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets in Nizhny Novgorod" published the news that in Nizhegorodsk Regional Court they began the consideration of the case against four citizens of Tajikistan. "They were the members of the extremist organization "The party of the Islamic Liberation Hizb ut Tahrir al-Islami" and were preparing some terror acts in large shopping centers of Nizhny Novgorod," - the Russian edition informs referring to the version of the investigation.

We want to recall that after the ITAR-TASS, referring to the General Directorate of the MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) of Russia in the Volga District, informed on 28 May 2013 about the arrests of alleged members of Hizb ut Tahrir and their preparation of some terror acts, we have already commented this situation in our press release dated June 5, 2013 as follows: "The Special Service officers planted the ammunition to several ordinary migrant workers, who had nothing to do with Hizb and after that they were said to be the members of the party."
We once again officially state that the defendants detained in Nizhny Novgorod on accusation of preparing the terror acts are not the members of Hizb ut Tahrir.

Moreover we confirm that planting the ammunition to ordinary migrant workers and accusing them of participation in Hizb ut Tahrir; the Russian special services commit a frank falsification and fabrication. Taking no notice of the fates of the Tajikistan citizens arrived on earnings and using a frank lie, the special services try to discredit the name of Hizb ut Tahrir and justify their repressions towards its members.

The special services commit such crimes because Hizb ut Tahrir is worldwide known only as a political party, and none of its members have never had even a distant relation to terrorism and force actions. And the searches, held in Tatarstan this week in the houses of the party members, have once again confirmed this. On the video frames of operational search actions published by the special services and spread by the media, one can see how heavily armed Special Forces are seizing the inoffensive Islamic literature as related to Hizb ut Tahrir and not related to it from the unarmed Muslims.

The shots, on which the child's ABC book in the Tatar language "Alifba" is shown among other religious literature laid on the floor of the searched house, look especially absurd.

Despite all provocations we were and remain a political party, that follows the path of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), and this requires us to stick to the path of a peaceful call, rejecting any physical actions. The Russian Special Services accuse us of such crimes, in which they can be blamed themselves - terrorism, extremism and provocation of religious hatred. However, as far as the party Hizb ut Tahrir is worldwide known with its educational work, so far as the Russian special services are worldwide known with their ugly crimes.
