Congratulations on the Occasion of the Blessed Eid
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaaha Illallah, Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar Wa Lillahil Hamd...
(Translated)

Dear brothers and sisters, Hizb ut Tahrir in Russia offers to you all the warmest congratulations upon the occasion of the arrival of the blessed Eid ul-Adha.

Ibn Umamah related that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

«يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمُ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَهِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ»

"The Day of 'Arafat, the day of sacrifice, the days of Tashreeq are the Eid of the people of Islam and they are days of eating and drinking."

Eid ul-Adha in these difficult and trying times that the Ummah is passing through still remains as an Eid and this is because it is the command of Allah (swt). In these days the Muslims sacrifice to purify themselves from the sins, assist those in need and the Fuqaraa' (impoverished) due to the speech of Allah (swt):

((فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ))

"Then, when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat thereof, and feed the beggar who does not ask (men), and the beggar who asks (men)." [Al-Hajj: 36].

Some of the Muslims this day are wearing the Ihraam garments and performing the rites of the Hajj which purifies one from sins and yet despite that the sin is still enveloping us because the Khilafah "Caliphate" is absent as long as we are not working to establish it. Due to the absence of the application of the Ahkam of Allah, we are weak and have no protector and as such we are unable to experience the true essence of Eid. However the promise of Allah in respect to making us the Khulafaa' (inheritors of authority) on the earth will definitely come to pass and His victory will come. All that we have to do is continue the great work to resume the Islamic life through the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" by following the method of the Prophet (saw).

Allah (swt) says:

((إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ))

"Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) in this world's life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth, (i.e. Day of Resurrection)" [Ghaafir: 51].

Verily Eid ul-Adha mandates from us to make visits, to sacrifice, honour the guest and exchange gifts all of which strengthens the bonds of love and affection amongst the Muslims. We ask Allah to be pleased with our coming together and our mutual concern for one another and we ask Him to bring near that day that we will truly taste the flavour of the joy of Eid ul-Adha when we are celebrating it under the shade of the rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the methodology of the Prophethood. Verily Allah does not break His promise.

He (swt) said:

((أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّـهِ قَرِيبٌ))

"Unquestionably the Help of Allah is near" [Al-Baqarah: 214].
