A Delegation of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan
Visits, the Threatened with removal Al-Takamul Quarter in Al-Shajara South of Khartoum, and Stands by the Suffering of the Residents of the Quarter

A delegation headed by Assistant of the official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan; Ustaath Muhammad Jameh (Abu Ayman), with the membership of Ustaath Abdullah Hussein, a Member of Central Communications Committee, and party members Brothers Abdel Azim Issa, Mohammed Muneer, and Othman Harun, visited Al-Takamul (Integrated) quarter in Al-Shajara area South of Khartoum; which is threatened with removal by the government in the third day of Eid al-Fitr - Allah forbid -, along with Al-Gasharat and Al-Bahr quarters. The government reasoned their decision for removal f the quarters as being squatter areas, although these quarters are populated by people since decades, and despite the decisions issued by the Ministry of Constructional Planning for their right in housing, such as Resolution No. 159.

The visit took place in Ramadan atmosphere where people of the quarter, received the delegation, with their children, wives, elders, and youth and generously honored the delegation with the best of what their hands could give.

Following the Iftar, the Assistant of the official Spokesman delivered a speech addressed to the people of the quarter, where he addressed the case with a number of points including:

Housing is a legitimate right guaranteed by Islam for human beings, the Prophet (saw) said:

«مَنْ أَحَاطَ حَائِطًا عَلَى أَرْضٍ فَهِيَ لَهُ»

“If anyone surrounds a land with a wall, it belongs to him”, and Qatada from al-Hasan from Samra said: The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

«مَنْ أَحَاطَ عَلَى شَىْءٍ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ وَلَيْسَ لِعِرْقٍ ظَالِمٍ حَقٌّ»

“Whoever encloses (with a wall) a thing, he is more entitled to it and not even the vein of an oppressor has any right (upon it)”. In addition, Allah (swt) obliged the taking care of people's affairs, and the provision of basic needs such as housing rights of the individual, and the provision of group rights; such as security, medication and education. It is the duty of the state, as the Prophet (saw) said:

«الإمام راع وهو مسئول عن رعيته»

“The Imam is the shepherd of the people and is responsible for his flock”, and as he said:

«مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمْ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ مُعَافًى فِي جَسَدِهِ عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا»

“Whoever wakes up secure in his family with a healthy body, having food for the day, it is as if the entire world is given to him”.

Care in Islam has reached a great extent, such that Omar, may Allah be pleased with him, once said, “If a mule slipped in Iraq, I would be held accountable for not paving the way for it”.

The Assistant of the Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan advised the people of the region to be at the heart of one man, because power is in unity, and division leads to vulnerability and diaspora. He also urged them to do their utmost to claim their right through all available peaceful means, such as forming delegations of the responsible people, and peaceful protests and the like, without being drawn into violence, and without responding to the provocations of racism, or casteism, or ugly tribalism, because they are forbidden in Islam, as well as because they distract them from demanding their right which is guaranteed to them by our Deen.

He also warned them to respond to the brokers who trade the issues of the weak and the oppressed for their selfish short-time personal interests.

The assistant spokesman appealed to the people of the quarter, to congregate their efforts to bring their cause to the public opinion through the available media, and to alert all the sincere lawyers to pursue their case in court.

He cautioned the people of the quarter that the party has not visited greedy in votes. The party does not participate in the elections, which are based on non- Islamic basis, held by the man-made regimes in Muslim countries. Hizb ut Tahrir has a more superior goal to all this, which is the establishment of Islam in the land in its own state, the Khilafah "Caliphate" State (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which adopts the issues of the Ummah on the basis of Islam, and that their issue is part of the issues of Islam and Muslims, and the party has no aims otherwise.

The notables, dignitaries and residents of the quarter interacted with the speech of the Assistant Spokesman with Takbeers and effective comments. A number of dignitaries and members of the quarter has spoken thanking the party for the talk, stating that the party expresses their cause and suffering, and speaks mouthpiece their situation. They indicated that they are aware of their cause, and will not be dragged into what distracts away from it. They requested the party to support their legitimate case, because the department deputy had betrayed them, and did not take the lead to solve their problem, instead he left them to their fate. They said they are assured about the visit of the party to them because they trust that the party will not trade their cause as others do, because they see that the party discourse is distinct from the other parties. They expressed their contentment for the visit which dealt with their case and proved their right on the basis of Islam.
