Apply for the Prosecution of the Government of Sudan!
(Translated)

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan initiated prosecution proceedings against the National Security and the Intelligence Service (First defendant) and the Khartoum State Police (Second defendant). The lawyer assigned to the case began to address the Minister of Justice to file a civil lawsuit against the above two defendants (First and Second), as they prevented the party from holding the oratorical festival, which the party planned to hold, in commemoration of the 96^th anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate), at Ar-Rabita Midan (square) in Shambat, Khartoum Bahri, on Saturday 22/4/2017. This was despite prior approval by the competent authorities, whichcaused the party material loss, and damage to its credibility, manifested in suppressing its freedom and destabilizing its political status.

The approvals issued by the police of the state of Khartoum, and from Al Khartoum Bahri Locality, and a copy of the petition were attached to the application.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan make it clear to the public opinion that Hizb ut Tahrir adheres to its legitimate right to carry the call to Islam. And it continues on its path, carrying out its call to the people; is committed to Islam and its rulings, and following the footsteps of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in carrying the Dawah through the intellectual and political work, where the party forbids the use of physical (material) acts in its methodology, in order to establish the righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. Therefore, the party will not abandon its method, nor will it deceive, or flatter anyone, and rejects any provocation or any act that detracts it from this great obligation; the resumption of the Islamic way of life by establishing the righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood. We are, Allah willing, victorious in our project to establish Islam and to cherish its people. Allah (swt) says:

﴿إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الأَشْهَادُ﴾

“Surely We do help Our messengers and the believers in the worldly life as we as on the Day on which witnesses will stand (to give their testimony).” [Ghafir: 51]
