Our Rulers Are Chess Pieces in the Hands of the International Monetary Fund
(Translated)

The Sudanese Minister of Finance, Jibril Ibrahim, admitted that there is great pressure on the state budget for this year, which taxes and customs represent 75% of its total revenues. This prompted reduction on spending on basics such as health and education. He stressed the continuation of the economic reform program, through the gradual lifting of state subsidies on goods. Ibrahim said, in an interview with The Independent Arabia, that the government is aware of the difficult situation in which the people of Sudan are living, pointing out that the way out is to increase production.

The Minister of Finance knows the problem with all its details and circumstances, and its deep effect on the helpless person, yet he insists on moving forward in the same direction; of implementing the dictates of the International Monetary Fund, which is falsely called the economic reform program, by lifting subsidies on commodities, while noting that the effective solution is to increase production, and confirming that this is the clear path. But he also insists on walking the crooked roads that lead to hardship of living. Here, we ask, why is this insistence on taking the path of more hardship on the people of the country?! And does he have control, if he chooses to fall into the depths of misery, while he sees the means of salvation?

O people of Sudan: these are rulers who implement the dictates of the International Monetary Fund of failed policies, which increase the size of the problems, the most important of which is the so-called lifting of subsidies on basic goods and services, which is a complete abandonment of taking care of people’s affairs in their livelihood. Care is one of the most important duties of the guardian. The Deen of Islam is concerned with the human being and taking care of his affairs, on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say:

«كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ فَالْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»

“You are all guardians and are responsible for your subjects, the Imam (ruler) is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects.”

And their deceptive policies will not only end up crushing the people, but they will proceed in transgressing upon the sanctities of Allah by making usury permissible, which is a war against Allah and His Messenger, Allah (swt) says:

(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا فَأْذَنُوا بِحَرْبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ)

“O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers * And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged” [Al-Baqara: 278-279].

These rulers will not learn, and they will not wake up from their heedlessness. Thus, our country will remain under the control of the policies of beggary and failure, which plunged the country into debt, inflation and unemployment, and those who starve will starve and those who die will die! Our rulers only care about their chairs (power), and they will continue the hardship on people’s living by reaping more taxes, and they will take more usurious loans without blinking an eye, and without shame from Allah (swt). All this is to ensure the interests of the global usurious mafia, represented by the colonial kafir West, and the institutions of death, poverty, and hardship. Soon these tools of the Ruwaibidah (ignorant) rulers will be sacrificed and replaced, as what happened to their predecessors yesterday; the evil cunning will inflict only its people.

The economic system in Islam that will be implemented by the Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophethood, which takes care of people’s affairs according to the rules of the pristine Shariah, that forbids subordination to the kuffar and their organizations, and thwarts their plans to plunder wealth, and prohibits usury, ignites energies and turns to production from abundant resources, and ensures the satisfaction of basic needs, from the revenues of Bait Al-Mal (treasury), from what Allah (swt) has legislated and permitted such as zakat, ore, kharaj, tithes, fay’, spoils and public funds revenues such as oil, gas, minerals and many others, and spending them on the aspects that legislated to take care of people’s affairs, then this will bring Allah’s pleasure, and Allah (swt) will make low the word of those who disbelieve.
