The CEDAW Agreement is a War Against the Rulings of Islam
Its Soldiers are Subservient to the West

In a workshop on the Arab Charter for Human Rights, Foreign Minister-designate Ali Al-Sadiq affirmed the continuation of efforts to push for the ratification of the Convention on All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and said that Sudan is making an appreciable effort to harmonize national laws with international and regional conventions to which the country is a party of.

Regarding this irresponsible statement, we show the following: No one is ignorant of the seriousness of the CEDAW agreement, which represents a reversal of normal instinct and clashes with Islam and its view of women, no matter how much the promoters of CEDAW hide behind glamorous and deceptive slogans, while they hide the reality of dissolution and the call for pornography contained in this agreement. The insistence on implementing CEDAW shows the extent of the Sudanese government’s subordination to Western countries and its submission to attempts to alienate Muslims from their religion. The purpose of the CEDAW agreement is to impose a secular vision on Muslims, especially in the social field, in a way that conflicts with Shariah rulings, because it makes the reference of international charters above all references. That is why our rulers acknowledge that they want to amend the laws to align with CEDAW. Article (2) Paragraph (f) stipulates “to take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to amend or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against women.” Moreover, the committee formed by the United Nations will follow up on this. Is there any excuse or justification left for this government, before Allah the Al-Mighty for being obedient to the West and disobeying Allah the Almighty? We will not be deceived by the term reservation on some articles of the agreement, which the government heralds as a way to save its face, which has been put in shame from its end, because it is a complete lie and deception and is not considered by the United Nations; As stated in Article (28), paragraph (2) of the Convention, “No reservation may be made that is incompatible with the object and purpose of this Convention,” which is the full and absolute equality between men and women.

O Muslims: All the articles of the CEDAW agreement are an explicit declaration of war against Islam and it is to corrupt the Muslim woman and make her abandon the rulings of Islam. CEDAW is a call to reject the Sharia’s distinction between the role of men and women, and it imposes absolute equality. It is a call to abolish marriage according to Islamic law, adopt secular civil marriage, recognize the marriage of a Muslim woman to a non-Muslim, prohibit polygamy, abolish Al-‘edda (the waiting period) for women, and reject the guardianship of a man over a woman. It rejects the guardian's consent to marriage, forbids marriage under the age of 18, and also calls for absolute sexual freedom. It authorized same-sex marriage, and CEDAW urges the dissemination of sexual education among children, and this is a dissemination of corruption and moral decay, as we see from the situation of children in Western societies.

The agreement also allows women to travel and live wherever they want, regardless of the consent of her guardian, and in this open a wide door to corruption and moral decay, similar to what is promoted in Western films where the girl is free as a ball tossed by dirty feet.

O Muslims: You have come to know about CEDAW and its bad consequences, and that it is obligatory for you to confront it and reject it, just as it is obligatory for you to adhere to the rulings of your religion, and to thwart the Western schemes implemented by your agent rulers, which spoil your life. The Khilafah Rashida (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) is based upon the method of the Prophethood, so it fixes what has been corrupted by the civilization of the West and straightens what is crooked from the instinct of Allah from which He created people.
