Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan Meets Member of the Scholars Committee of the Red Sea State
(Translated)

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, led by Sheikh Nasser Ridha, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, and including Abdullah Hussein, Coordinator of the Central Communications Committee, and Mohammed Mukhtar, Member of Hizb ut Tahrir, met with Sheikh Othman Arefa, a member of the Scholars Committee of the Red Sea State and Imam of Ibn Masoud Mosque, on Saturday, 25 Shawwal 1445 AH corresponding to 4 May 2024 CE, at the Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan in the city of Port Sudan.

The meeting addressed the danger of hate speech and the incitement of tribalism leading to the shedding of innocent blood, disturbances, and instability among the people of Sudan, which are precursors to tearing the country apart and enabling colonialist countries to interfere in our Ummah. The way to confront this is only through a preaching discourse carrying a political project stemming from the great Islamic Aqeedah (doctrine), enhancing Islamic brotherhood, and culminating in the establishment of a state based on Islam. Hizb ut Tahrir is in the process of holding a conference to present solutions to the country's issues arising from within and to put an end to external interventions.

Sheikh Othman Arefa welcomed the solutions offered by Hizb ut Tahrir to the problems touching reality, stating, "We are with you wholeheartedly and completely." Both sides affirmed their commitment to continue such meetings.
