Congratulations on the Occasion of Eid Al-Adha
(Translated)

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan would like to congratulate the entire Islamic Ummah and our people in Sudan, especially on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha asking Allah Almighty to return it to us while the Ummah has united under the banner of punishment. The banner of the Messenger of Allah (saw), under the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.

We congratulate you and the Eid is a joy, except that the Kafir (disbelieving) colonialist and his agents have turned our joy into sorrow and replaced our security with fear. Here we are in Sudan, welcoming Eid, displaced from our homes, between a brokenly displaced person and a humiliated refugee, after the accursed war turned the lives of millions into an unbearable hell. However, as the situation is like this, we must review our positions and not surrender to the reality imposed on us by the Ummah’s enemies abroad and its servants at home. We must turn to Allah sincerely, in order to fulfill the words that come from the throats of millions of pilgrims to the Sacred House of Allah. We must fulfil it in reality and behavior: لبيك اللهم لبيك، لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك، إن الحمد والنعمة لك والملك، لا شريك لك لبيكlabbayka -llāhumma labbayk, labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk, ʾinna -l-ḥamda wa-n-niʿmata laka wa-l-mulka lā sharīka lak. They are not just passing words that are said, but rather they must be achieved on the ground of reality, so we should worship Allah and not associate with Him anyone, we should not submit to anyone other than Him, and we should not accept legislation other than His Law, or any rule other than His rule. All of this will not be achieved unless we feel that we are Muslims, one Ummah. Just as we gather in Arafat from different countries and different backgrounds, of every color and race, in one garment, calling upon one Lord and repeating the Talbiyah with one tongue, Islam has also enjoined upon us that our state be one and implement the law of our one Lord, and place the artificial political borders under the soles of the sects seeking and standing at Mount Arafat.

So hasten, O Ummah of Islam, O the best Ummah ever created for humankind, work to support Allah’s Deen and His Shariah in light of the glad tidings of our Noble Messenger (saw), a Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, so that the joy of our holidays combines with the dawn of Islam once again.

Eid Mubarak, May you be closer to Allah each year, and may Allah accept good deeds from us and from you.
