It has become clear to any aware observer of politics that America is the main player in the ongoing conflict in Sudan!

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Tuesday that America has called on the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to participate in U.S.-mediated ceasefire talks starting on August 14 in Switzerland. He added in a statement that the African Union, Egypt, the UAE, and the United Nations will participate as observers. Blinken mentioned that Saudi Arabia will co-host the discussions.

It has become evident to any aware observer of U.S. policy in Sudan that it is the main player in the ongoing conflict there. We in Hizb utTahrir / Wilayah Sudan have repeatedly asserted, without leaving any room for doubt, that America ignited the war in Sudan to destroy the framework agreement that could have turned the tables on America and its men in Sudan and restored British influence through civilians if the military had signed it. This led to this cursed, pointless war. Then America continued to control the scene by imposing the Jeddah platform as the only negotiation venue to stop the war, preventing Britain's agents in the region from influencing events. It moved its agents in the region to carry out actions to prolong the war until the situation ripened. Now, as America heads towards new presidential elections in November, the current U.S. administration wants to make stopping the war in Sudan and signing an agreement one of its foreign policy achievements. Therefore, August 14 was set as the date for the negotiations that America will sponsor and oversee, making other participating countries and organizations mere observers and witnesses to what it will impose on its men in the army and the Rapid Support Forces.

Unfortunately, in the absence of a true leader and protector, our country remains an arena for international power struggles, and our overwhelmed people pay the price for this cursed war with death, rape, displacement, and looting of money and property by a group of our own who have sold their religion for someone else's worldly gains. They have accepted being tools in the hands of the colonial Western disbelievers who mess with our country and its resources and covet our wealth. This chaos will not stop, nor will the hands of the troublemakers be cut off, except by the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, which we all must work to restore soon, Allah willing.

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.”[Surat Al-Anfal:24]
