Minawi Flatters America and Turns a Blind Eye to the Actions of Those Striving to Establish the Khilafah (Caliphate), Proclaiming the Great Islam!
(Translated)
In a seminar held in the French capital, Paris, Arko Minawi, leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement and governor of the Darfur region, made several statements, the most notable being:
1. He called for reforming the military institution and building a unified military force.
2. He claimed that Islamists in Sudan are now divided into tribes and regions, and that political Islam no longer has a real presence in the country.
3. He stated they would not allow the dismantling of the state founded in 1956, as it was built through the efforts of their ancestors.
4. He reiterated his gratitude to America for standing with the Sudanese people.
In response to these messages, Hizb utTahrir / Wilayah Sudan would like to highlight the following:
Firstly: Building a single military institution is a duty for Muslims, with its mission being jihad for the sake of Allah and protecting the borders. The existence of separate armies, as is the case today, is unacceptable. Minawi himself leads a military force separate from the state's army, yet he speaks of building a unified military institution! The army will only be reformed when it becomes an Islamic army, not a national one, as intended by the colonizers.
Secondly: The claim that political Islam no longer exists in the country is far from the truth. Political Islam, which refers to Islam that addresses governance and politics and the implementation of Allah's laws on earth, is the aspiration of the Ummah (Muslim community). Minawi and his colonialist masters know that Hizb utTahrir is working with and within the Ummah to establish Allah's rule through the reestablishment of the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, a promise from Allah and the glad tidings of His Prophet (saw). However, Minawi and those behind him seek to obscure this truth, as Allah said:
[يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ]
“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” [Surat At-Tawba:32]
Thirdly: The so-called "State of 1956," which Minawi claims was built through the efforts of ancestors, is, in reality, the state created by the British colonizer and handed over to its agents. These agents have preserved the British system of disbelief (kufr), ruling by the constitution of Mr. Stanley Baker. Those seeking to dismantle this state are none other than the colonizers themselves, through their agents from among our own people. After the secession of South Sudan under the pretense of a false peace, the colonialist seeks to further dismantle and fragment Sudan into weaker states that continue to serve the old and new function of preserving the colonizer's legacy and fulfilling its desire for control, influence, and looting resources.
Fourthly: Renewing thanks to America for standing with the Sudanese people is a form of political hypocrisy. America is the one who ignited the war in Sudan in order to dismantle the Framework Agreement and, consequently, eliminate British influence, which is represented by civilians and some of the so-called armed struggle movements, including Minawi’s movement.
In conclusion: The ongoing conflict in Sudan is a proxy war for America, which cares little about the killing, displacement, and suffering of the Sudanese people, as long as its goal of eradicating British influence in Sudan is achieved, no matter the high cost, paid by the Sudanese in the form of displacement, hunger, and disease. This conflict will only be stopped when the people of Sudan become aware of the conspiracy being woven against them, work to nullify its effects, and join forces with sincere individuals to establish the great edifice of Islam, the second Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood.
